The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi, the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax or explore the secrets of the city's Mughal past in the labyrinthine streets of Old Delhi and the wide open spaces of imperial New Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

An early morning start we will drive to Agra - home of India's famous attraction - the Taj Mahal. We start with a guided tour of the Agra Fort, built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. It contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque, with Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb a marble forerunner to the Taj. Then you will have a guided tour of and ample time to explore this once powerful Moghul emperor’s exquisite monument to love - The Taj Mahal.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

This morning our driver will take you to the Taj Mahal and pay your entry tickets so you can enter and explore at leisure. After breakfast, we drive to Bharatpur, with a stop en-route at Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. After some time for lunch we continue our journey to Jaipur the legendary pink city.

Day 5: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 6: Jaipur - Ranthambhore NP

Early this morning we make our way through some splendid scenery to Ranthambore National Park. This afternoon you will venture out on the first of your exciting game drives by shared canter to see the stunning wildlife.

Day 7: Ranthambhore NP

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in a shared jeep or canter in Ranthambore National Park, one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.


Day 8: Ranthambhore NP - Shahpura

Enjoy a final morning game drive before we travel to Shahpura and check into the Shahpura Bagh hotel. Enjoy an the afternoon at your leisure in the historic surroundings.

Day 9: Shahpura - Udaipur

Today we continue our journey onto Udaipur stopping along the way to visit the most important historic incredible fort at Chittorgarh then the second most important fort at Kumbalgarh. Arriving into Udaipur in the later afternoon, relax at your hotel.

Day 10: Udaipur

This morning enjoy touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. The City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari. You will have free time to explore on your own or perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani arts and crafts. The evening enjoy a shared boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 11: Udaipur - Jodhpur

Leaving Udaipur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples where you have time to explore before driving onward to Jodhpur.

Day 12: Jodhpur

Jodhpur, is a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring today in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Day 13: Jodhpur - Goa

After breakfast and hotel check out, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight via Mumbai to Goa. Our local representative to greet you at Goa airport and assist with your transfer to your hotel.

Day 14: Goa

Day at leisure to relax or take part in a cooking class.

Day 15: Goa

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to Goa Airport in time for your flight home.
