The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey 5hrs to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! We conclude our day with a guided exploration of the incredible Taj Mahal which also allows free time for your to enjoy a romantic sunset.

Day 3: Agra - Jaipur

En route a stop is made at the fantastically well preserved former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. This magnificent fortified city was the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned dramatically due to a lack of water. Explore the various temples, places of worships, pavilions, public areas and examples of everyday living such as areas from where ablutions were performed, to an ancient aqua cooling system and marvel at how life must have been for the inhabitants of this old city.Continue to the Pink City of Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Jaipur

An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty 16th century Amber Fort. LAter we explore the City Palace containing an interesting museum of regal attire. Just over the road is Jantar Mantar, an observatory of astronomy built by Jai Singh in 1728. At first glance, Jantar Mantar resembles a sculpture park, though in fact, each construction has a specific scientific purpose. Some measure the positions of stars, whilst others calculate eclipses, the lunar calendar and simply the time of day. Even today, most of the constructions remain accurate!

Day 5: Jaipur - Deogarh

Today we get a real taste for rural India as we drive to through the back country to the gorgeous village of Deogarh and your hotel which a fantastic heritage hotel with incredible hospitality. So enjoy some time here this afternoon to wander in the village and enjoy the hotel.

Day 6: Deogarh - Udaipur

Continuing our journey we drive to the romantic city of Udaipur. Along the way we will stop to explore one of the best preserved historic forts in India named Kumbalgarh. After exploring here, drive to your hotel in Udaipur.

Day 7: Udaipur

This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. We conclude the day exploring the Monsoon Palace where have time to take in the incredible views of the hills, lake and city below as the sunsets.

Day 8: Udaipur - Rishikesh

This morning we catch a short flight back to Delhi. Arriving here, we assist you to the train station where you enjoy a thrilling ride to Haridwar. Arriving in Haridwar, we will take you to one of the best Ayurvedic hotels in the world known as the Ananda Spa, situated in the foothills of the Himalayas the scenery and ambience is simply breathtaking.

Days 9-10: Rishikesh

Your stay is the 3 nights is named the Himalayan Bliss and is inclusive of Room, Meals (Breakfast & Dinner) and spa experiences is an excellent introduction to the unique blend of Ananda’s world class spa with a wide menu of integrate ancient & contemporary therapies and treatments, exhilarating activities in and around the resort and the delectable cuisine of Ananda and is a perfect getaway.

Day 11: Rishikesh - Delhi

Bidding farewell to Ananda we head to Haridwar and explore one of India's most significant places of holy pilgrimage. We will explore ancient temples and riverside bathing steps before driving back to Delhi and your hotel.

Day 12: Delhi

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
