Day 1: Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Day 2: Delhi
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Day 3: Delhi - Udaipur
Ivana and Joanne - Day at leisure to explore on your own (check out midday). Ronald - We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Ivana and Joanne's hotel. Ronald to follow on with Ivana and Joanne for the remainder of the itinerary. Later we will transfer you to the train station for your overnight train to Udaipur.
Day 4: Udaipur
We will collect you this morning as you arrive into Udaipur train station, and transfer you to the hotel (usual hotel check in time midday, early check in subject to availability). Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5: Udaipur
Today we have included a full day city tour for you. The tour includes such as the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari Garden.
Day 6: Udaipur - Rohet
Today we transfer you by road to Rohet Garh. On the way we will visit Mehrangarth Fort, Jaswant Thada and Clock Tower (without guide), please note you will back track by 1 hour to get to Jodhpur for this sightseeing.
Day 7: Rohet - Jaipur
Today we continue on to Jaipur, about 8 hour drive. Arrival and hotel check in.
Day 8: Jaipur
This morning we visit the magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Rest of the evening is free and at your leisure.
Day 9: Jaipur - Agra
Today we travel by road for about 5 hours to Agra, on the way we will visit Fatehpur Sikri (without guide).
Day 10: Agra
After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces. We then return to Delhi, about 5 hours by road, where we transfer you to the airport for your onward departing flight.
