Today you will make your own way to the start hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
This morning we will be there to meet you at your hotel (hotel to be advised) at 9am. This morning we transfer you through to Agra. Upon arrival we start our touring with a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj.
This morning you will be driven to Bharatpur train station where you will board a train to Ranthambore, en route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. Not far from Agra, the UNESCO World Heritage Listed site, Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory), located in what is now Uttar Pradesh was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and served as the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under his reign, from 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. The tremendously atmospheric complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. Upon arriving in Ranthambore you will be transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.
After a final early morning game (in shared canter) drive for a final spot of wildlife viewing, we will drive you to Jaipur. This walled Rajasthani capital is famous for the unusual rose-colored sandstone architecture that gives the city its nickname, the Pink City. Remainder of the day is free and at your leisure.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! This afternoon is at your leisure or you could opt to enjoy a city tour - Jaipur up close (prices noted at the end of this quote).
Today you will drive to Delhi airport where you will board a flight to Varanasi. Upon arriving in Varanasi you will be transferred to your hotel. Later this evening you have the opportunity to see the Aarti ceremony. Overnight : Rivatas by Ideal- Standard Room
This morning enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, embark on a tour of the city. Later today you will be transferred back to the airport where you will board a flight to Delhi.
Today we bid you farewell and transfer you to the airport for your onward flight home.
