Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.
This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon why not further enhance your exploration of this busting city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar. An early morning start straight after breakfast we will drive 4 hours to Agra - home of India's famous attraction - the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival we will have a sightseeing tour to the Agra Fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! After check in at the hotel enjoy a guided tour of and watching the romantic sunset over the Taj Mahal itself.
This morning early we catch the 05:10 am train to Ajmer - Arriving at 11:45 our local driver will meet you, and then take you on a drive into rural India. (If you like we can stop for lunch in Ajmer) The drive to Shahpura is around 2 hours, and the perfect stop point on the way to Udaipur.
Enjoy the day to explore the village and surrounding countryside at your leisure or simply relax and enjoy the facilities of your rural heritage hotel.
This morning we make our way to Udaipur however along the way we have some very interesting stops to make. First, is Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. Then, onto Kumbalgarh fort which is the second most important fort in Rajasthan. Arriving into Udaipur check into your hotel and relax for the evening.
This morning enjoy a half tour of the imposing City Palace and this afternoon enjoy time to explore and perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani textiles. This morning we will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Delhi - Arriving here our driver will take you to a good locale to eat lunch then transfer onward to the station for the 16:25 express train to Amritsar. Arriving at 22:35 our local guide meets you and takes you to the hotel.
This morning you will have a sightseeing tour of the city, taking in the incredible Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. In the evening enjoy a visit to Wagah - the only border crossing between India and Pakistan for the sunset ‘Retreat’ ceremony, where the changing of the guards & ceremonial lowering of the flags is performed with great pomp.
This morning we make our way into the mighty Himalayas. First, a train journey to Chandigarh the main hub city in this region. From here, a drive to Kalka located in the foothills here you embark the narrow gauge Himalayan Queen Toy Train travelling to Shimla. Sit back and enjoy the scenic journey. Arriving into Shimla station our local guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

This morning we drive back to Kalka and there board the express train to Delhi. Arrival and the remainder of th day is at your leisure to explore your driver will be at disposal to take you out to some of Delhi's amazing shopping bazaars if you like.
