The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Morning arrival into Delhi airport and our local team await your arrival for transfer to the hotel. After check in and a little free time, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a afternoon sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque.

Day 2: Delhi - Srinagar

Transfer to Delhi airport and onward flight to Srinigar where you will be met at the airport upon arrival and transferred to your house boat. The rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy.

Day 3: Srinagar

This morning we board one of the colourful shikara to visit the floating gardens, known as "Rad" in Kashmiri, where mounds of earth make for a fascinating display as they protrude from the water topped with all sorts of growing local produce. Later we visit some of the stunning Mughal Gardens that Srinagar is famous for, including Nishat Bagh or Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden and conclude with seeing Chesmashahi gardens en route to the Pari Mahal garden perched majestically atop the Zebanwan Mountain.

Day 4: Srinagar

Today we visit the Old City of Srinigar, or as it's also known downtown Srinigar, with its winding streets and alleys lined with shops selling and making the finest Kashmari goods, we take a heritage walk through this part of the city along the River Jhelum. We also visit Hari Parbat, also known as the Mughal fort, We return to your houseboat for lunch before tour with a visit to the Tomb of Zain Ul Abideen, well hidden in the streets of the bazaar this mausoleum marks the final resting place of Sultan Sikander's favourite wife. After a full day return to your house boat to enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 5: Srinagar

Today is entirely yours to do as you please. Explore the local markets for some bargains or just relax on your house boat with the stunning surrounds of Lake Dal.

Day 6: Srinagar - Kochi

This morning after breakfast onward transfer to Srinagar airport and your onward flight to Delhi. Arrival in Delhi and you catch the connecting flight to Kochi. Here our local team will assist you to your hotel.

Day 7: Kochi - Munnar

A drive east to to Munnar - a quaint hill station nestled on the verdant slopes of tea plantations, that exudes a rare old world charm and reminds one of the days of the Raj in its elegant splendour. At a height of 1525 metres, Munnar offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

Day 8: Munnar - Periyar NP

A short drive south to Periyar, South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary and home to bison, antelopes, sambar, wild boar, birds and even the odd tiger! Kumli, close to the sanctuary and where you’ll stay, is a pretty little town dotted with small spice and handicraft shops. There is plenty to do in and around Periyar, so we leave the choice to you.

Day 9: Periyar NP

Free day to partake in activities on offer at the hotel, such as Nature walks, boat rides and more (No Activities Included)

Day 10: Periyar NP - Kumarakom

Continuing our South India journey to Kumarakom. Perched sleepily on the eastern banks of the mighty Lake Vembanad in the heartland of Kerala’s famed backwaters, Kumarakom has changed little since the Middle Ages but for it’s string of exotic resorts, making it the perfect point to explore the backwaters. Although right in the thick of a tangle of lush tropical waterways, Kumarakom is technically an island on Lake Vembanad.

Day 11: Kumarakom

This is an ideal place to chill-out for a day. There is also a wonderful bird sanctuary, winter home to many migratory birds which is worth a visit in your free time today.

Day 12: Kumarakom - Alleppey

This morning board a simply furnished private rice-boat for a journey through the backwaters. Crewed by a poler to push the rice boat through the water, a distance of some 20 kms will be covered, during which time the boat will glide past colourful local villages. As for dining, the on-board cook will prepare meals using fresh local produce.

Day 13: Alleppey - Kochi

Disembarking at Alleppey, you’ll be driven the short distance back to Kochi. This afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town including the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568, the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1555 and St Francis’ Church. A walking tour of Fort Cochin takes you through streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial architecture.

Day 14: Kochi

We will transfer you today to the airport in time for your flight home.
