Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Today you will be transferred to the train station for your train to Ranthambore. Arrival at Ranthambore later this evening and you will be transferred to your lodge.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives i shared canter in the national park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Entrances + mandatory park naturalist included.

Today we depart and transfer you by road to Agra, along the way we visit the ghostly fortifed city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandonded only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. We arrive into Agra, and later we enjoy a sunset visit to the famous Taj Mahal. Here you have some guided time and then some free time to explore the monument to love (Taj closed on Friday).
Today we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. We then return to Delhi by road.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Srinagar, upon arrival here you will be transferred to your hotel. After boarding your traditional Kashmiri houseboat docked on the shoreline of Dal Lake, the afternoon allows for an enjoyable stroll through the waterside gardens.
Today drive west through the avenues of Poplar trees and fertile rice fields, passing small villages to Gulmarg – India’s premier winter sports town. Sitting at an altitude of 2650m and offering panoramic views of Vale of Kashmir, Gulmarg is the ideal place for a little outdoor adventure. Opt to hike or ride horseback along the lofty trails of Pine forest, play a round of golf, fish in the mountain streams or picnic in the flower filled meadows.
Today take a shikara (a traditional wooden boat found only waters of the Jammu and Kashmir) to the early morning floating vegetable market. Passing many other shikara’s along the way, ferrying people, produce and freshly caught fish across the lake. The boat ride continues with a leisurely cruise around the 15.5 sq km lake.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Delhi, arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel, for a free afternoon.
