Day 1: Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to India! We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon and tommorow enjoy 2 half day tours covering highlights such as Raj Ghat, Shanti Vana, Jama Masjid, the Red Fort, Chandi Chowk market, Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb.
Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur
After the mornings tour we drive to Jaipur. Arrival and check into your hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 3: Jaipur
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Evening at leisure.
Day 4: Jaipur - Agra
En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. Arrival in Agra we enjoy a visit to and free time at the amazing Taj Mahal.
Day 5: Agra - Delhi
This morning we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! We then return to Delhi and stay near the airport.
Day 6: Delhi - Trivandrum
Early morning transfer for your included 06:35 am flight to Trivandrum. Arrival at 10:30 am there end of our arrangements in India.
