You will be picked at 16:45 from Lotus Jewel Beach House by our representative and driver to transfer you to the airport by a private vehicle for your departure to Kochi by flight 6E 316. Expected time of departure 18:50 hours. Arrive Kochi by 6E 316 from Trivandrum at 19:30 hours. You will be met by our representative and driver on arrival and transferred by a private vehicle to your hotel.
The touring today includes the visit to Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese for a local King in 1555 A.D. The famous Jew Street, a cul-de-sac leading to the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568. A walking tour of Fort Cochin will take you through the streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch & British colonial architecture. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Today we will drive you to Kumarakom (car and driver only, no guide). On arrival in Kumarakom we will check you into the hotel.
This morning we journey by road where you will board a traditional Keralan rice boat for a journey through the backwaters in and around Allapuzha (Alleppey). The boat will cross shallow, palm-fringed lakes and cruise along peaceful canals where copra and cashews are loaded onto local boats. The on-board cook will prepare locally-inspired food. Relax, read and catch some sun as the boat plies it’s route.
After breakfast, you'll disembark from the houseboat and be transferred to Kochi and to the airport for the flight to Delhi, flight 9W 7010, departing at 14:10 and arriving at 18:30. On arrival in Delhi we will transfer you to the hotel.
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
After breakfast we depart Delhi, and drive to Jaipur. Arriving here we transfer you to your hotel and the rest of the afternoon is yours at leisure before our full day of touring tomorrow.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we depart Jaipur and make our way to the Ranthambhore National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Ranthambhore National Park is one of India’s most scenic parks and offers a rich diversity of fauna and flora including the Bengal tiger, sambar, chital, nilgai, wild boar, leopard, sloth bear and myriad birdlife.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur
Enjoy a Morning Game Drive in a Shared jeep or Canter. Later we will tramsfer you by private vehicle to the Railway Station in time for your departure from Sawai Madhopur by Train No 12903 to Bharatpur. Train departs at 12:30 hours. You will be transferred by road from Bharatpur to Agra. This two hour drive to Agra is a pleasant journey with picturesque landscape. En-route visit to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri (Includes Ruined city, Abundant City Palace, Mosque, Administrative Lay‑out including entrances & guide).
After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj.
We will transfer you by private vehicle to the Railway Station in time for your departure from Agra by Train No 12002 to Jhansi. Train departs at 08:15 hours. Arrive Jhansi by Train 12002 at 10:50. You will be met by our representative and driver to transfer you by a private vehicle to your hotel. Portage at the railway station is paid by our representative).
In the morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Chandela Dynasty temples built between 950-1050 AD. Immortalised in stone, the carved temples depict Indian life a millennium ago, including erotic scenes from the Kama Sutra. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi 9W 724. Expected time of departure 13:25 hours. Visit The Ganges in the evening with guide to witness the evening Arti ceremony.
