The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi - Ranthambhore NP

Say goodbye to everyone from your group tour and we transfer you to the train station for the express train to Sawai Modhpur. Arrival and we will transfer you to your hotel based on the outskirts of Ranthambore National Park. Afternoon enjoy the first of your game drives in the park to spot the illusive wildlife in a shared canter vehicle.

Days 2-3: Ranthambhore NP

Today and tomorrow enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park in shared canter vehicles. In between drives you have plenty of time to relax at the hotel and enjoy your natural surroundings or perhaps go out for a walk in one of the nearby villages to see a slice of real Indian life.

Day 4: Ranthambhore NP - Udaipur

This morning we have early breakfast and then drive to Udaipur. Arriving in Chittorgarh for lunch time the driver will take you to see the famous fort in the town and then you can have lunch before driving onto Udaipur. Arrival and check into your hotel to relax and unwind.

Day 5: Udaipur

This morning enjoy touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari a couple of hours to relax this evening before we drive half hour to the Monsoon Palace to witness sunset and experience the magic atmosphere at twilight.

Day 6: Udaipur - Ranakpur

This morning we drive to enjoy a visit to the Kumbhalgarh Fort which is the second most important fort of Rajasthan after Chittorgarh. Onward we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples you will have time to explore the temples at your leisure.

Day 7: Ranakpur - Poshina

Morning driver through off the beaten track roads passing interesting villages, farms up and over the Aravalli hill range and enter into Gujarat state here you continue onto to a little place called Poshina this in fact is a tribal region of South Rajastan and north Gujarat states here local tribes have a very distinct and defined culture not really seen in any other location of India. Check into your historic hotel and relax.

Day 8: Poshina

Today enjoy the hospitality at your amazing heritage hotel called Darbargadh the host here will take you out to see the rural life in the region affording you a fascinating insight into real India.

Day 9: Poshina - Mumbai

This morning we drive onto Ahmedabad - Enjoy some time here your driver will show one or two interesting places, after some time for lunch he will transfer you to the train station for the express train to Mumbai. Arrival and Mumbai and transfer to your hotel included.

Day 10: Mumbai

Today we embark on a glittering city tour, with a morning visit to the cave temples of Elephanta Island sculpted during the 5th to the 8th centuries. In the afternoon visit the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple.

Day 11: Mumbai

This morning take a guided heritage walking tour, visiting the main buildings in South Mumbai, which form an integral part of the cities architectural heritage. Late this afternoon embark upon further exploration of the city, visiting the Afghani Church and the holy Banganga Tank - an ancient water tank built over a freshwater spring under the Silhara dynasty in the 14th century. The spring is believed to be an underground offshoot of the Ganges, so the waters are considered just as sacred and effective for healing as those of the great river itself. This evening enjoy a leisurely horse and buggy ride along Marine Drive toward Chowpatty beach.

Day 12: Mumbai

We will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
