The Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India's glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind.
An early morning start we will drive to Agra - home of India's famous attraction - the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival we will have a sightseeing tour to the Agra Fort, before watching the sun set on the Taj Mahal itself.
Today we rise early to see the Taj Mahal in its ethereal morning light - quite a contrast to sunset on our previous visit. Rest of the day is at leisure with a car and driver at your disposal.
This morning we will take a drive out to the ghostly fortified city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area continuing on you will arrive in to Jaipur 'The Pink City'. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to relax.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

An interesting 6 Hr drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Today we will drive you through to Jaisalmer and on arrival, check you into the hotel.
Today enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city including the sandstone fort which is an imposing sight, towering magnificently over the city. Later this afternoon we will take you on an exciting camel safari on the Sam sand dunes.
Today you will continue on your camel safari, the most evocative way to sample desert life. The desert is sprinkled with ruins and tiny fields of millet. Camping out at night, huddled around a fire under a blanket of stars and listening to camel drivers songs is magically romantic.
Today we take you back to Jaisalmer and the rest of the day is free (car and driver at your disposal).
We will drive you to Rohetgarh today and on arrival we will check you into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to enjoy the pool and if you wish, book into the spa for a treatment.
This morning we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. You will have free time at the temples to explore on your own. We continue on to Udaipur and check you into the hotel.
This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in a shared boat on Lake Pichola itself.

We will transfer you to the airport for the via to Varanasi, via Delhi (flight 9W 2628 departing at 07:40 and arriving at 09:20, then flight 9W 2423 departing at 10:40 and arriving at 11:55). On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel. This evening we will take you to the Aarti at the Ganges, a wonderful ceremony that takes place every evening.
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). In the afternoon we will enjoy a visit to the famous Buddhist holy sight of Sarnath. Sarnath is located at 10 Kms from Varanasi where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; preaching the middleway to final Nirvana.
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Delhi (flight AI 405, departing at 15:50 and arriving at 17:05). On arrival in Delhi we will transfer you to the international airport.
