Day 1: Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Delhi
Today, you'll explore Delhi - both Old and New with a private guide. Highlights of the tour will be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and much more.
Day 3: Delhi - Surajgarh
Today, we drive to the semi-desert Shekhawati region. The small towns in this region became important trading posts, a lasting legacy of which are the beautiful painted havelis (mansions) constructed by wealthy merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. Afternoon village walk and time to relax.
Day 4: Surajgarh
Enjoy a day in Surajgarh with time to go out and about and take in the ambience of this lovely more rural setting.
Day 6: Bharatpur
Enjoy a day in Bharatpur enjoy time to go out and about and take in the ambience of this lovely more rural setting.
Day 7: Bharatpur - Agra
Departing, we have a short journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! This evening enjoy a sunset guided tour of the magnificent Taj mahal and enjoy free time to take in the site.
Day 8: Agra - Delhi
Morning transfer back to Delhi around 4 hours arrival and check into your hotel.
Day 9: Delhi - Kochi
Morning transfer for your flight to Kochi 6E 315 0620/0920 Hrs - Arrival transfer to your hotel. Day to leisure to explore Kochi.
Day 10: Kochi - Varkala
This morning it is off to the Elephant Orphanage to scrub some elephants during there morning bath time. After we transfer 4 hours though tropical scenery to Varkala and check into your hotel Gateway hotel by Taj Varkala.
Days 11-14: Varkala
Enjoy free time to relax and explore at your leisure at your chosen beach location.
