Welcome to Israel! Upon arrival into Tel Aviv, we will be there to greet you for the transfer to our Jerusalem hotel. We will then take you on a sightseeing tour of Jerusalem, taking in the Old City to visit the Wailing Wall and explore the Temple Area with the Al-Aksa Mosque and Dome of the Rock. In the Jewish quarter we visit the Synagogue. Walk through the Cardo and visit Burnt house which dates back Second Temple period. We continue on to visit the Via Dolorosa, the Convent of Zion sisters, the station of the Cross, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Today's sightseeing takes us to the Israel Museum to visit the Shrine of the book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. Also visited today is the village of Ein Karem (birthplace of John the Baptist), The Church of Visitation, Yad Vaheem, the Museum of the Holocaust, Bethlehem and the Church of Nativity. We then head o to the Dead Sea and check into our hotel.
Today we head to Masada, where Herod the Great built palaces for himself on the mountain and you can see various remains on the top of the mountain.
Today we head to the Jordanian border and cross into Jordan (the actual crossing is done independently). Our Jordanian driver will be waiting for you on the other side and will transfer you to Aqaba and your hotel.
