Welcome to Israel and the start of your adventure. We’ll be there to meet you at airport and transfer you to your hotel down town.
After breakfast we drive along the Sharon Plains en route to Caesarea. The visit includes the Crusader port ruins, the Roman aqueduct and hippodrome. Continue to Akko, to visit the Crusaders and Turkish underground city and crypt. Walk through the old city and the oriental market, the Arab mosque and the old port Proceed via the village of Cana, where the weddings feast took place. Nearby we arrive in Nazareth, the town where Jesus grew up, and visit the Church of the Annunciation. We then drive onward to Tiberias for hotel for check in and a relaxing evening.
We will drive north along the Jordan River Valley, following the border between Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan on our way to the Galilee, with a view to the modern city of Jericho and the Mount of Temptation from the road. Arrive at the Sea of Galilee, enjoy a Boat Ride on the lovely Sea of Galilee and continue to Mt. Of Beatitudes to visit the Church of Multiplication of Fishes and Loaves. Proceed to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. We then return to your hotel for a relaxing evening after your busy day.
After breakfast drive via the Jordan Valley to the holy City of Jerusalem , and start your tour with views of the old city from the Mount of Olives then continue with a visit at Gethsemane. Drive to Dung Gate and enter the Old City. Walk to the Western Wall, the holiest site to the Jewish faith that stands as the only reminder of the Holy Temple and is visited by thousands every day. Continue to the Via Dolorosa over to the Armenian and Jewish Quarters then onto Mt. Zion to visit the Last Supper Room and King David's Tomb. We then proceed to your hotel for the night.
Today we drive to the lowest place on Earth, the Dead Sea. Drive along the Judean Wilderness to the Fortress of Masada; learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, visit the ruins of the walls, palaces, synagogues and other findings. Descend by cable car then we continue to the Dead Sea enjoy the unique opportunity to swim “float” in the mineral rich waters. In the afternoon drive to Eilat for your stay at the Red Sea.
Enjoy a day free time for diving at your own cost and arrangements.
After breakfast we will leave Eilat and drive to Ramon Creter, visit Mitzpa Ramon visitor center. We then continue via Beer Sheva to Tel Aviv for your last night in this fascinating country.
