Day 1: Tel Aviv

Upon arrival at the airport you will be met and transfered to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Rest of the evening is free. Overnight - Tel Aviv @ Hotel Sea Net in Tel Aviv

Day 2: Tel Aviv

Today is spent at your leisure enjoying on your own. Independantly exploring what Tel Aviv has to offer. Located on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline Tel Aviv is Israel's second most populous city. Overnight Tel Aviv @ Hotel Sea Net in Tel Aviv

Day 3: Tel Aviv - Jerusalem

Leave Tel Aviv via Ashdod and Ashkelon to Beersheba. A short visit to the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, bathhouse, etc. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Descend for a possible “float” in the in the salty water of the world’s lowest place. Via Ein Gedi & Kalya, proceed to Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 4: Jerusalem

Today take a sightseeing tour of Jerusalem New City and drive to Mt Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony before continuing to the vault of the Shrine of the Book building located in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and home to The Dead Sea Scrolls. Then visit the beautifully renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. This afternoon continue to Yad Vashem (the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust). Later drive to the picturesque village of Ein Karem (the birth place of John the Baptist) before returning to your hotel. Overnight - Jerusalem

Day 5: Jerusalem

Explore Jerusalem Old City today, passing through the Gates to the walled Old City, the renewed Jewish Quarter and the the Western Wall. Visit the Temple area with its colourful bazaars and walk Via Dolorosa taking the path that Jesus took to his crucifixion and finishing at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Then drive to Mt Zion and visit the tomb of King David and Dormition Abbey. This afternoon continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity before returning to Jerusalem for the night. Overnight - Jerusalem

Day 6: Jerusalem - Galilee

Leave Jerusalem, and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world through Jordan Valley and the new settlements to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved Roman City. Proceed to Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight. @ Hotel Kibbutz Kfar Giladi Galilee

Day 7: Galilee

Driving to the Golan Heights, the rocky plateau overlooking southern Syria and straddling the territory between Israel and Syria, visit the former Syrian fortifications, the Druze villages and Banias, the source of the Jordan River. Afterwards proceed via the Hula Valley to Safed, city of the Kabala, where you visit a synagogue and an artists colony before continuing to Nazareth, a pilgrimage city for Christians due to its mention in the New Testament as Jesus' childhood home, the city contains many biblical shrines. This afternoon return to the Kibbutz hotel for the night. Overnight - Galilee @ Hotel Kibbutz Kfar Giladi Galilee

Day 8: Galilee - Tel Aviv

After Breakfast continue west to Acre, an old Crusader stronghold boasting great medieval fortifications due to its coastal link to the Levant. Continue to Haifa, the largest city in northern Israel and dating back over 3000 years. Sightseeing includes the UNESCO world heritage listed Bahai Shrine and the magnificent gardens on the surrounding slopes of Mount Carmel spread over 19 terraces, the highest of which is the Persian Gardens offering panoramic views of the city and the bay. Then proceed along the cost to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and Crusader fortress before ending the day with a city tour of Tel Aviv. Overnight - Tel Aviv @ Hotel Sea Net in Tel Aviv

Day 9: Tel Aviv

Another free day to explore Tel Aviv on your own, or prehaps make your way to the beach to relax by the ocean. Overnight Tel Aviv.

Day 10: Tel Aviv

Sadly you arrangements come to an end after breakfast as you are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.
