Day 1: Dead Sea

Ben Gurion Airport transfer to your hotel at the Dead Sea. Rest of the day free for you to enjoy. Overnight Hotel Prima Spa

Relaxing in the Dead Sea

Days 2-3: Dead Sea

Sitting at 422 metres below sea level we spend the next two day swimming, lathering up with a detoxifying mud bath and bobbing about in the ever warm mineral-rich body of water. Overnight Hotel Prima Spa

Day 4: Dead Sea - Jerusalem

We visit Masada Fortress atop an isolated rock cliff and the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Ascending by cable car to the fortress offers incredible views of the Dead Sea. Visit the excavations of Herod’s Palaces, the synagogue and bathhouse. Travelling via Ein Gedi & Kalya, to the 2,000 year-old ruins of Qumran then proceed to Jerusalem for the night.

Day 5: Jerusalem

From the Mount of Olives we enjoy panoramic views of the Old City and Temple Mount. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony before continuing to Mt Zion and visit the tomb of King David and Dormition Abbey. Finishing our day at the vault of the Shrine of the Book building located in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and home to The Dead Sea Scrolls.

Day 6: Jerusalem

Explore Jerusalem Old City today, passing through the Gates to the walled Old City, the renewed Jewish Quarter and the the Western Wall. Visit the Temple area (if open) with its colourful bazaars and walk Via Dolorosa taking the path that Jesus took to his crucifixion and finishing at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. This afternoon continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity before returning to Jerusalem for the night.

Day 7: Jerusalem - Tiberias

Passing through the Jordan Valley, part of the larger Jordan Rift Valley, and the new settlements to Beit Shean with its ruins dating back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods, subject to being open, we visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved city with its Roman theatre and baths. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum located on the northern shore of Galilee, to visit the ruins of two ancient synagogue. We also visit Mount of Beatitudes. Later proceed to Tiberias, named in honour of the Roman Emperor and legend has it that Tiberius was built on the site of Rakkat, mentioned in the Book of Joshua and the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament. Day 8: Tiberias

Driving to the Golan Heights, the rocky plateau overlooking southern Syria and straddling the territory between Israel and Syria, visit the former Syrian fortifications, the Druze villages and Banias, the source of the Jordan River. Afterwards proceed via the Hula Valley to Safed, city of the Kabala, where you visit a synagogue and an artists colony before continuing to Nazareth, a pilgrimage city for Christians due to its mention in the New Testament as Jesus' childhood home, the city contains many biblical shrines. Day 9: Tiberias - Tel Aviv

After Breakfast continue west to Acre, an old Crusader stronghold boasting great medieval fortifications due to its coastal link to the Levant. Continue to Haifa, the largest city in northern Israel and dating back over 3000 years. Sightseeing includes the UNESCO world heritage listed Bahai Shrine and the magnificent gardens on the surrounding slopes of Mount Carmel spread over 19 terraces, the highest of which is the Persian Gardens offering panoramic views of the city and the bay. Then proceed along the cost to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and Crusader fortress before ending the day with a city tour of Tel Aviv.

Days 10-11: Tel Aviv

Spend the next two days in Tel Aviv, Israel's largest and liveliest city, draped along the beautiful Mediterranean Coast.

Day 12: Tel Aviv

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport.
