Tell us about yourself? My name is Sameh Nazeeh. I graduated from October 6th University, Cairo as an Egyptologist. My dream since I was a little kid was to be an Egyptologist and work as a tour guide to show everyone in the world how great my country is. I have been working as a tour guide since 1996 and with On The Go since 1999. And now I am living my dream!!
What are your top 5 places/sights to visit on planet earth? My top five places would be: 1) Blue Mosque in Turkey 2) Colosseum in Italy 3) The Acropolis in Greece 4) London 5) Petra in Jordan

What has been your Best Experience as a tour guide? As I have been doing this for many years now and there have been a lot of great experiences. For example people proposing to their girlfriend's in spectacular places such as the Nile (this happened two weeks ago) but the best for me happens every week when people almost cry when they are leaving and they tell me how much they love Egypt!

What has been your Worst Experience as a tour guide? Nothing too bad so far but I do find that people will do crazy things to get good photos! We've had some of our passengers in very precarious poses - especially around the pyramids! Fortunately the worst injury is always to their pride (but we always have band-aids just in case)!

What is your Favourite Movie I'm not really a movie person but I like Troy and Gladiator - historical movies.

Tell us something we probably don’t know about Egypt The funny thing is that everyone comes to Egypt and wants to ride camels in front of the Pyramids. Whereas camels are not native to Egypt - there are no records of them in any of the ancient monuments and temples. Camels were introduced to Egypt when the Arabs came in the year 641 AD.
