This morning we visit Jerash, the world’s best-preserved Roman provincial city, built over 2,000 years ago and known as the ‘Pompeii of the East’. Here we visit the Forum, with its forest of towering columns, the arena, where the tracks of chariot wheels can still be seen, the souk area, Temple of Artemis and the South Theatre with its near-perfect acoustics. We continue on to Umm Qais , a dramatic black-basalt Roman city with panoramic views over the Sea of Galilee - Return to your hotel in the early evening.
Morning heading out of the city once again we visit Um al-Jimal, a Nabatean/Roman/Byzantine caravan way station in Jordan's eastern Badis, drive on to Azraq Oasis to tour its Roman fortress, later used as a winter headquarters during the Arab Revolt of the early 20th Century. After we are off visit the "Desert Castles" (8th Century Omayyad hunting lodges) of Qasr Amra and Qasr Kharanah before returning to your Amman hotel in the early evening.
Morning we drive to Madaba where we visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St George which has incredible 6th century Byzantine mosaics, depicting Jerusalem and other holy sites. After we visit Mt Nebo the place where Moses saw the promised land before descending to the Dead Sea before checking into your hotel, we will visit Bethany here they say Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist.
Enjoy a free day to swim in the Dead Sea and maybe indulge in a treatment or two at the spa in your hotel.
This morning, we explore the vast well preserved 12th century crusader castle of Al Karak. It took the Crusaders some twenty years to erect their fortified stronghold, which through the proceeding centuries withstood countless attack and siege. Once finished in 1161, it became the residence of the lord of Transjordan, by then the most important fief of the Crusader kingdom, rich in produce and tax revenues. When ready we continue with a drive to Petra.
Welcome to the Rose City! Enjoy the day with your expert guide walking down the gravel tracks of this ancient city to explore the Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets lined with temples, royal tombs, staircases, arched gates, public buildings and more. This evening you will return to the treasury for Petra by night excursion where it is all illuminated by candles.
This morning with your guide we venture into Petra for a second day touring this time our entry is made by Madras entrance gates. In the afternoon we drive to Wadi Rum visitor centre from here we have a three hours camel trek from Rum Village to the Camp. Enjoy dinner under a blanket of stars at our remote desert camp.

After breakfast we drive you to Aqaba for the start of your relaxing stay on the red sea.Swim, snorkel, dive, relax and take it all in at Jordan ’s premier seaside town.
We will transfer you to the airport in Amman (4 hours drive) In time for your evening flight home.
