Day 1: Amman

Welcome to Jordan and the start of your holiday in this wonderful country, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Amman for the night.

Day 2: Amman

Today enjoy a full day guided city tour of Amman. We visit Wadi Seer and Iraq al Amir, Amman Citadel, Archaeological Museum, Roman theater, Folklore museum and the souks.

Day 3: Amman - Dead Sea

Today we take you on guided visit to Um Qais and Jerash. Driving north, we visit the stunning Roman ruins of Jerash. Second only to Petra in tourist appeal, Jerash is recognised as one of the best preserved member cities of the Decapolis, a confederation of 10 Graeco-Roman cities. From here, we continue to Umm Qais (Gadara), a dramatic black-basalt Roman city of the Decapolis with panoramic views over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. After we descend from the elevation of Amman and venture to the Dead sea a short 1hr 30 min drive away.

Day 4: Dead Sea

No need to wake up early today, allow your self a treat, I would highly recommend indulging in one of the many therapeutic treatments on offer here at the hotel.

Day 5: Dead Sea - Petra

After breakfast today we venture off to visit Madaba which is renown for its mosaics including the stunning 6th century Byzantine mosaic map depicting Jerusalem and other holy sites, located at the Greek Orthodox Church of St George. Small shops sell excellent copies of miniature mosaics. At Mt Nebo, where it is believed Moses viewed the Promised Land, you can too. The views from this point stretch across as far as Israel. Later we head south to Petra stopping at the magnificent crusader castle of Karak on the way.

Day 6: Petra

Welcome to the Rose City! Access to the city on our guided exploration is through the famous narrow, deep siq. The rocks then give way to the most amazing site – that of the fantastically impressive Treasury. Walking down the gravel tracks, we’ll explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets lined with temples, royal tombs, staircases, arched gates, public buildings. the more intrepid can ascend to Ad Deir better known as the monastery. Day 7: Petra

Free day today. Why not take a second full day's touring in Petra with entry in to the site through the Al Maras siq, highlights will include visits to the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasa and The Great Temple. And in the eevening, book onto the Petra by Night excursion, with a revisit to the treasury, softly lit by candle light and Bedouin music to accompany it's guaranteed to be a magical evening you will never forget.

Day 8: Petra - Wadi Rum

This morning you will have the option to revisit Petra in your own time before we head to Wadi Rum - A vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds, pastel coloured stretches of sandy desert and amazing rock formations known as jebels that rise from the desert floor, the desertscape of Wadi Rum represents some of the most stunning countryside on the planet. Tonight you will enjoy camping out in a traditional Bedouin tent, after indulging in some authentic Bedouin cuisine.

Day 9: Wadi Rum

Enjoy a full day camel safari, exploring the striking landscape. We head back to the Bedouin camp for another night.

Day 10: Wadi Rum - Aqaba

Today we board a 4 hour 4x4 jeep tour of the moonscape terrain which T. E. Lawrence rightly described as "vast, echoing and God-like." In the afternoon we transfer to Aqaba where you can enjoy your remaining days in Jordan under the desert sun on the shores of the Red Sea.

Days 11-14: Aqaba

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Here you can opt to go snorkelling or diving, to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.

Day 15: Aqaba - Amman

Today we will start to head back towards Amman, with a stop at Qasr Bshir on the way. Our local guide will guide you around the well preserved Roman fortress. Afterwards we continue on to Amman and check you into the hotel.

Day 16: Amman

Farewell to awesome Jordan - we transfer you to the international airport for your onwards flight home.
