Today and full in depth tour of the city including visits to the Citadel, Jordan's National Archaoelogical Museum, the Roman theater and Folklore Museum, souks and modern city. Drive through fertile Wadi Seer to visit the Tobaid hall of Qasr al-Abd then return to your hotel.
Heading north, we visit Umm Qais (Gadara), a dramatic black-basalt Roman city of the Decapolis with panoramic views over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. Continue to Pella which has been continuously occupied since Neolithic times and packed with interesting relics, We conclude visiting Jerash, the Graeco-Roman city known as the ‘Pompeii of the East’. Return transfer to your hotel.
Morning our first stop is Tour Um al-Jimal, a Nabatean/Roman/Byzantine caravan way station in Jordan's eastern Badis then drive on to Azraq Oasis to tour its Roman fortress, later used as a winter headquarters during the Arab Revolt of the early 20th Century. Returning to Amman we make stops to see the "Desert Castles" (8th Century Omayyad hunting lodges) of Qasr Amra and Qasr Kharanah.
This morning we visit Mt Nebo - the single most important biblical site in Jordan. On ward we visit Umm ar Rasas, a haunted deserted city on the ancient caravan routes. The village is the site of the now ruinous Roman garrison town of Kastron Mefaa, which developed during the Byzantine and Umayyad periods. We then make a stop at Mujib Bridge where you can have a walk around take in the scenery before driving to Dhana.
In the morning we enjoy five hours guided hiking in the Reserve taking in the stunning wilderness scenery and varied flora and fauna. Return for lunch at the Guesthouse then we drive to visit Shobak Crusader Castle before we continue to visit Siq al Barid ("Little Petra"), the northern Nabatean customs point outside the bounds of the city of Petra.

Morning drive to Wadi Rum. A vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds, pastel coloured stretches of sandy desert and amazing rock formations known as jebels that rise from the desert floor, the desertscape of Wadi Rum represents some of the most stunning countryside on the planet. Boarding 4x4s jeeps, we take a safari through the sand dunes, getting up close and personal to the surrounding scenery of Wadi Rum. Tonight, we enjoy a Jordanian dinner.
Rise early and see the sunrise of the barren landscape. After we drive to visit Karak Crusader Castle, and then continue to the Dead Sea for overnight.
Morning visit to what is believed to be the place where Jesus was baptised by John called Bethany and then after we go to Hammamat Ma'in to enjoy swimming in the hot water springs then return to your hotel.
Today drive to visit Mukawir "Macchhaerus" and enjoy the view from Dead Sea Panorama. Return transfer to your hotel.
