Arrival to Cairo, North Africa’s largest city. Included transfer to your hotel and leisurely afternoon to enjoy your hotel facilities
Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau which are the sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World. Next we stop for a barbeque lunch before moving on to see the necropolis of Saqqara where the famous Step Pyramid is located.
After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse and explore the famed treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visit the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, drive to the Citadel of Saladin, and visit the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more.
A short early morning flight down south to explore the temples of Abu Simbel , created to revere the mighty pharaonic ruler King Ramses II. After around 2 hours tour we fly you to Aswan. Later afternoon free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souqs and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile.
Morning drive to Luxor stopping en route to visit Edfu and Kom Ombo waterside temples. Arrival in Luxor and we check in then go to visit the Luxor temple.
After breakfast we enjoy our touring of the Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi Of Memnon, valley of kings and lastly valley of queens. Afternoon visit to the complex of Temples at Karnak. Evening at leisure.
Morning you take to the skies and fly to Amman Jordan via Cairo. Arriving into Amman our local rep will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Enjoy a day oif touring to the the black basalt desert, east of Amman where the Desert Castles stand as a testament to the flourishing beginnings of Islamic-Arab civilization. We will enjoy the full day exploring this fascinating castles returning to your hotel in the evening.
This morning we visit Jerash, the world’s best-preserved Roman provincial city, built over 2,000 years ago and known as the ‘Pompeii of the East’ We continue on to Umm Qais , a dramatic black-basalt Roman city with panoramic views over the Sea of Galilee. Return to Amman for your overnight stay.
Leaving Amman we drive onward to Madaba we visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St George which has incredible 6th century Byzantine mosaics, depicting Jerusalem and other holy sites. Late afternoon visit to Shobak castle en route to Petra.
