Day 1: Amman

Welcome to Amman. We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: Amman

Today we driving north and visit the Roman ruins of Jerash. Recognised as one of the best-preserved member cities of the Decapolis, Jerash is deservedly one of Jordan’s major attractions. The traditional Roman street is very impressive and still boasts chariot ruts, the South Theatre boasts astonishing ancient amplification. We continue to Umm Qais, a dramatic black-basalt Roman city and then Aljun before returning to Amman.

Day 3: Amman - Dead Sea

Today we descend from the elvation of Amman to the Dead Sea where you can simply sit back and relax.

Day 4: Dead Sea - Wadi Rum

Today we head to Wadi Rum, a vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds, pastel coloured stretches of sandy desert and amazing eroded rock formations that rise from the desert floor. The region is also home to semi-nomadic Bedouin living in their great goat hair tents tonight, we enjoy a Jordanian dinner tonight at your camp.

Day 5: Wadi Rum - Petra

Today we will drive you to Petra for a full days guided tour. Possibly the jewel in Jordan’s glittering archaeological crown, Accessed on horse back through a penetrative, narrow deep siq, the end prize is the hidden valley where the Rose City of Petra lies. As you reach the end of the Siq, you’ll come across the spectacular façade of Al-Kazneh – the Treasury of Petra. As the Treasury is passed, the hidden valley widens to reveal the remains of the city proper.

Day 6: Petra - Madaba

This morning we drive you to Madaba.Famed for it’s Byzantine mosaics, including the fascinating map of the Holy Land made in the 6th century out of two million stone pieces and now housed in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, Madaba - the most important Christian centre in Jordan, its mosaics, little shops and restaurants offers us gentle respite. A short distance away, we visit Mt Nebo. Sitting on the edge of the East Bank plateau, it is where Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land.

Day 7: Madaba - Sharm el Sheikh

We will transfer you to Amman airport in time to catch your flight to Sharm el Sheikh. On arrival, we will transfer you to the hotel.

Days 8-15: Sharm el Sheikh

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Here you opt to go snorkelling or diving to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs for your remaining days in Egypt.

Day 16: Sharm el Sheikh

We will transfer you to Sharm el Sheikh airport in time for your departure flight.
