Day 1: Amman

Welcome to Jordan and the start of your holiday! Arrive into Amman and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Amman

This morning we visit Jerash, the world’s best-preserved Roman provincial city, built over 2,000 years ago. Here we visit the Forum, the arena, where the chariot wheel tracks can still be seen, the Temple of Artemis and the South Theatre.

Day 3: Amman - Petra

Today, we tour the citadel, Archaeological Museum and enjoy free time in the local souq. We then have time for a dip in the Dead Sea before we head down to Petra.

Day 4: Petra

Welcome to the Rose City! Access to the city on our guided exploration is through the famous narrow, deep siq. The rocks then give way to the most amazing site – that of the Treasury. We’ll explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets lined with temples, royal tombs, staircases, arched gates, public buildings.

Day 5: Petra - Madaba

This morning early we drive to Wadi Rum the moonscape terrain T. E. Lawrence rightly described as "vast, echoing and God-like." Here enjoy a 4x4 jeep tour of the vast landscape of ancient riverbeds, pastel coloured stretches of sandy desert and amazing rock formations known as jebels that rise from the desert floor, the desertscape of Wadi Rum represents some of the most stunning countryside on the planet. We then drive on to Madaba.

Day 6: Madaba

This morning you’ll be picked up at 9:00am and transferred to the Jordanian border where after immigration formalities you will transfer by public shuttle bus over the border into Israel, here you’ll be met by a driver and transferred to your hotel in Jerusalem. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the ancient city of Jerusalem – a World Heritage site.

Day 7: Madaba - Jerusalem

This morning you’ll be picked up at 9:00am and transferred to the Jordanian border where after immigration formalities you will transfer by public shuttle bus over the border into Israel, here you’ll be met by a driver and transferred to your hotel in Jerusalem. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the ancient city of Jerusalem – a World Heritage site.

Day 8: Jerusalem

This morning we drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Enter the Old City through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. We visit the Jewish Wailing Wall, and continue to the Christian quarter and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We will then transfer you to Tel Aviv for your flight home.
