Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Later expore the antiquities of the Egyptian Museum. Overnight Cairo
Leaving Cairo you fly down to Aswan to board your Nile Cruiser. Today you will visit the High Dam of Aswan. Also visit Philae temple the complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island because of the construction of the Aswan Dam. After lunch take a traditional felucca sailing trip along the Nile. Dinner will be served onboard your cruise. Overnight Nile Cruiser.
Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. This afternoon continue sailling to Edfu and visit the temple dedicated to the falcon god Horus, was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BCE. Overnight On Board.
Enjoy the day relaxing on board your boat. Later today you enjoy a visit to Luxor and Karnak temple which comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. Overnight On board.
Disembarking your cruiser for the final time. Today you will visit the west bank and the Valley of the Kings often called the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, a place where many tombs are located. Here you will visit Hatshepsut temple and colossi of Memnon two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III among other things. Overnight Luxor
Leaving Luxor and Egypt you will be transferred to the airport for your flight accross to Amman. Upon arrival into Amman you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring Amman your way. Overnight Amman.
After a quick visit to the Citadel and Archaeological Museum, we’ll walk through the bustling souk to enjoy typical Jordanian street food. Leaving Amman, we’ll stop first at Mt. Nebo, the site from which Moses saw the Promised Land. Our next port of call is Um ar-Rasas, once an important stop on the busy caravan routes. The impressive mosaic floor of the St. Stephen Church features medallions commemorating all the early Christian pilgrimage sites of the region, You’ll make a late afternoon stop at the Shobak Crusader Castle en route to Petra for the night. Begin the day with a walk through the mysterious mile-long Siq, the narrow gorge with towering sandstone walls which leads into the ancient capital city of the Nabatean trading empire. Explore the Khazneh (the temple of Indiana Jones fame), Theater, Colonnaded Street and Museum. After lunch, climb to ad-Deir (the Monastery), Petra’s largest carved façade. Overnight - Petra
Today we return to Petra for a full day sight seeing and join our guide for a return to Petra along the “secret way” of al-Madras, with visits to the High Place of Sacrifice and Wadi Farasa. Overnight Petra
This morning take a free morning at Petra. At lunchtime we stop in the Wadi Musa souk to pick up delicious shawarma sandwiches or fruit and veggie snacks from the local produce souk before making the scenic drive to Wadi Rum. We make a late afternoon jeep tour of this moonscape desert terrain, arriving to our remote camp site deep in the heart of the Wadi Rum. We enjoy a magical evening under the brilliant stars of the desert night sky, including a scrumptious traditional Jordanian dinner. Overnight - Wadi Rum
After breakfast at the campsite, we head north along the Desert Highway. Drive through the busy market town of Karak under the towering shadows of the Karak Crusader Castle, descending some 1300 meters to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the earth’s surface. More than 500 meters below sea level, the mineral-rich Dead Sea is the world’s original health and beauty spa. Drift out and bob in the waters and slap on some of the famous black Dead Sea mud to give your skin an invigorating boost. After the experience, you’ll enjoy a buffet lunch Overnight – Dead Sea
