Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your journey through the Land of the Pharaohs! Arrive Cairo airport and our local rep awaits to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Early this morning we drive out of Cairo to enjoy our in-depth tour of Alexandria. Highlights include the Catacombs at Kom El Shoukafa and nearby Roman Ruins, Pompey's Pillar, Alexandria National Library and Montazah Palace Gardens. Returning to your hotel in Cairo in the evening around 7 pm.

Day 3: Cairo - Aswan

Today we tour the Pyramids at Giza Plateau. Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks, it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. The other two - Chephren and Mycerinus are equally impressive. Later, we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse and explore the famed treasures of King Tutankhamen. This evening you will travel by sleeper train to Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan

Enjoy the light breakfast given on board the train. Arriving into Aswan, we will transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 5: Aswan - Nile Cruising

This morning after breakfast a visit out of town takes us to the mighty High Dam – a modern feat of engineering, the by–product for which is Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake! Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Check into your Nile cruise for a lovely lunch on board. Later in the afternoon enjoy sailing on the Nile in a tradtional boat to see the sunset.

Day 6: Nile Cruising

Nile Cruising. Relax and take in the riverside village views perched on the top deck! A stop will be made at the waterside Temple of Kom Ombo then later after lunch we stop to visit the waterside Temple of Edfu.

Day 7: Nile Cruising

As dawn breaks and during breakfast the cruise sails for Luxor. Arriving into Luxor you will disembark to visit the famed West bank sites which includes the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, you visit Karnak is a spectacular myriad of sanctuaries, pylons, chapels, halls and obelisks. This evening with it's soft illuminations enjoy your visit to the Luxor Temple.

Day 8: Nile Cruising - Sharm el Sheikh

After breakfast you disembark the cruise, we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Arriving here, our local rep will transfer you to your beach side resort.

Day 9: Sharm el Sheikh

Enjoy your time in the Sharm El Sheikh soaking up the sun and dipping in the warm waters of the Red Sea. Here you can opt to go snorkelling or diving or just lay back on a sunlounger on the hotels private beach.

Day 10: Sharm el Sheikh - Amman

A transfer to the airport see yours Egyptian Adventure come to an end. Catch your onward flight to Jordan. Welcome to Amman and the start of your Bedouin Adventure. Arriving here, our local team awaits to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 11: Amman

Day 12: Amman - Petra

First stop today, Mt Nebo - the single most important biblical site in Jordan. After, visit Madaba famed for it’s Byzantine mosaics, including the fascinating map of the Holy Land made in the 6th century. We then explore the vast well preserved 12th century crusader castle of Al Karak, before driving to your hotel in Petra.

Day 13: Petra

Get ready to be amazed! All but lost to the modern world until 1812, Petra is a real archaeological gem, full of ancient tombs and ruins ripe for the modern-day discoverer. We access Petra on horseback, through the mysterious mile-long Siq which leads to the spectacular façade of the Treasury (of Indiana Jones fame). This is just the beginning of a day filled with true adventure, where we'll explore amazing sights such as the Street of Facades, the Theatre, Colonnaded Street and Qasr al Bint and climb to Ad Deir to take in the incredible view.

Day 14: Petra - Wadi Rum

This morning enjoy some free time to re enter Petra and visit at your leisure. Later a drive to to Wadi Rum for a 2 hours 4x4 tour of the moonscape terrain which T. E. Lawrence described as “vast, echoing and God-like.” Enjoy the evening at our remote desert camp, with dinner under a blanket of stars.

Day 15: Wadi Rum - Aqaba

After breakfast in your stunning remote location, we drive onward to Aqaba - Jordan’s premier Red Sea hotspot and enjoy an afternoon of R&R.

Days 16-17: Aqaba

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. For today and tomorrow, sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Here you can opt to go snorkelling or diving, to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.

Day 18: Aqaba - Dead Sea

Driving north via Wadi Araba we descend to the lowest point on the earth’s surface, the Dead Sea . Take a dip in the mineral rich waters, where y you'll bob around like a cork; there is certainly no risk of sinking here! Your skin will also receive a fabulous detox, thanks to the curative qualities of the water.

Day 19: Dead Sea

Enjoy a free day relaxing by the Dead Sea . Perhaps treat yourself to a Dead Sea spa treatment or two; everybody deserves a little pampering on holiday.

Day 20: Dead Sea

Sadly your Honeymoon concludes today with a transfer to the airport in time for your flight homeward bound.
