Day 1: Amman

Welcome to Jordan and the start of your exclusive journey through the land of the Bedouin's. Arriving into Amman airport, you will see our friendly local team waiting to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Amman

Heading north, we visit Jerash, the Graeco-Roman city known as the ‘Pompeii of the East’. Built over 2,000 years ago, Jerash is widely regarded as the best-preserved city of the Decapolis, a confederation of 10 Roman cities dating from the 1st century! We’ll explore the site taking in the colonnaded street, amphitheatre, nymphaeum, forum and more before continuing to Umm Qais (Gadara), a dramatic black-basalt Roman city of the Decapolis with panoramic views over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights.

Day 3: Amman - Madaba

This morning, we tour the citadel of Amman and Archaeological Museum. We then head out of the city to explore Mt Nebo - the single most important biblical site in Jordan. We then visit the the castle of Mukawir. It was the site of Herod's Palace, where Salome asked for the head of John the Baptist as a reward for her dancing, and also a centre of resistance to Rome during the First Jewish Revolt. We conclude day with exploring the Byzantine Mosaics in Madaba.

Day 4: Madaba - Petra

This morning we drive to Petra. Along the way stopping to explore the Roman ruins and beautiful mosaics of Umm ar-Rasas. This is followed with a visit to Kerak Castle, which towers over the modern town and it is easy to see why all the powers involved in the Crusades wanted control of this bastion. Lastly, the 5th-century stone village of Dana, which dangles beneath the King’s Highway on a precipice, commanding exceptional views of the valley below.

Day 5: Petra

This morning we explore the city of Petra. Upon entering the site through the towering cliff wall of the siq we continue our day of sightseeing visiting the much loved treasury, numerous tombs, temples and the Monastery. In the early evening it’s on with aprons to cook a traditional Jordanian meal at our cooking school aptly named the Petra Kitchen which is followed by dinner.

Day 6: Petra

Today we return to Petra with our guide via the 'secret road' of al-Madras, then visit the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasa and the Great Temple complex.

Day 7: Petra - Wadi Rum

This morning we drive to Wadi Rum and enjoy a 3 hour Wadi Rum Jeep Safari to see the incredible scenery and rock formations. Tonight enjoy a traditional dinner and overnight at our desert camp.

Day 8: Wadi Rum - Aqaba

This morning we drive to Aqaba where you can relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Days 9-14: Aqaba

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. For the next few days, sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Here you can opt to go snorkelling or diving, to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.

Day 15: Aqaba - Amman

This morning we drive to Amman. Along the way we stop to have a soak in the Dead Sea with lunch at a hotel. Then explore Lots Cave, another site of biblical renown, Lot's Cave is where the prophet reputedly sheltered following the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. We will arrive into Amman in the early evening.

Day 16: Amman

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
