Teeming with wildlife, the park has so much to offer including spectacular birdlife, lions, buffalos as well as many rhinos (black and white) making a game drive around the park rewarding every time. We may even spot a leopard relaxing in a tree beside the lake. Lake Elementaita - Masai Mara. Leaving the Great Rift Valley behind us we drive to Kenya's famous Masai Mara. the setting for the Great Migration, countless wildlife documentaries and, of course, the Big 5. The Masai Mara is the highlight of any safari. The adventure begins as soon as we arrive at the park gates and go straight into our first game drive as we make our way to the camp set on the banks of the Talek River. Arriving at the lodge, lunch will be served leaving plenty of time for an afternoon siesta or perhaps a dip in the pool. An evening game drive is on offer, followed by a drink as you watch the Mara’s spectacular sunset, rounding off another fabulous day on safari.

Day 6

Masai Mara. Today we have an early start as we get up at sunrise hoping to catch the animals at their most active. Afterwards our game drive, breakfast is served overlooking the gardens and the park. Following this we can spend the morning relaxing or heading to a Masai Village to get a better understanding of their culture and way of life. Following lunch, in the late afternoon, we can opt for one final leisurely game drive that can include sunset if you wish. As it’s our last evening on safari we can choose to spend a little longer out there, before making our way back to camp and toasting the end of our adventurous safari.
