Family Tour. Explore Morocco with all the family. Take in the sights and sounds of vibrant Marrakech, enjoy the film capital Ouarzazate and marvel at the stunning High Atlas. Add to this a camel trek across the Sahara, a visit to legendary Ait Benhaddou and some surf lessons on the coast at Tagahazoute and you’ve got an adventure of a lifetime.
Day 1: Marrakech
Saturday. Upon arrival at Marrakech airport you will be met and transferred to our hotel. The welcome meeting at 18:00 this evening provides the opportunity to meet your guide and fellow travellers before dinner.

Day 2: Ouarzazate
Marrakech – Ouarzazate. Leaving Marrakech, we drive over the stunning High Atlas mountains on the way to Ouarzazate, which used to be the crossing point for African traders heading to the northern cities in
Morocco, or travelling up into Europe.
Ouarzazate is now the film capital of Morocco and we have the opportunity to visit the famous film studios which have been used for films such as Kingdom of Heaven, Alexander the Great, The Last Temptation of Christ and The Living Daylights. Overnight - Ouarzazate (B, L, D)

Day 3: Todra Gorge
Ouarzazate – Todra Gorge. We continue our journey this morning, driving on to the stunning Todra Gorge, a narrow rose red canyon with towering 300m high walls. Discover the charm of Todra today as you witness it’s ever changing colours on a light walk.
There is the opportunity to partake in an afternoon session of rock climbing or (in summer) horse riding (book/pay locally). Alternatively, you could choose just to relax by the pool and soak up the atmosphere. Overnight - Todra Gorge (B, L, D)

Day 4: Sahara camel trek & camp
Todra Gorge – Erg Chebbi. Crossing the Jebel Sarhro, we head down to Erg Chebbi sand dunes this morning, which signify the commencement of the mighty Sahara Desert. Transferring to trusty camels, we trek sedately across the vast rolling sand dunes of the Sahara to our remote Berber camp - an experience that is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on travellers young and old!
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon and evening in the desert; scale the towering dunes and watch a breathtaking sunset, before listening to Berber music and enjoying some tasty local food. Camp out tonight under the glittering Saharan stars. Overnight - Merzouga (B, L, D)

Day 5: Gorge du Dades
Erg Chebbi – Dades Gorge. We leave the Sahara this morning, trekking back on our camels to the frontier point (camel HQ). We stop off at a hotel in Merzouga, to wash away the desert sand with a shower and a chance to cool off in the pool before lunch. br>
Feeling refreshed, we travel to the beautiful Dades Gorge this afternoon, a stunning valley which extends from the High Atlas to the Jebel Sarhro range in the south, with a picturesque river meandering through the middle and kasbahs dotted on the ranges. Admire the views along the serpentine roads, stopping at several scenic spots en route for photo opportunities and perhaps a cup of mint tea as we head to our hotel. Overnight - Gorge du Dades (B, L, D)

Day 6: Ait Benhaddou
Dades Gorge – Ait Benhaddou. This morning we head to legendary Ait Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Enjoy a guided tour of this remarkable site, exploring the ancient winding alleys, towers and kasbahs - a handful of which remain inhabited today. Explore the winding alleys and admire the wonderful views overlooking a fertile river valley and the surrounding Atlas mountains. Overnight - Ait Benhaddou (B, L, D)
Day 7: Djemaa el Fna
Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech. We enjoy some free time again this morning at the hotel near Ait Benhaddou, before heading on our way for an incredible journey over the Atlas mountains. Arriving late afternoon in Marrakech. This evening consider heading for dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking Djemaa el Fna, the exuberant market place which literally springs to life in the evenings. Filled with spicy aromas, exotic music, market stalls, snake charmers, magicians, storytellers and more, it is undoubtedly the liveliest and most captivating attraction in Morocco! Day 8: Bahia Palace & the ancient medina
Marrakech. This morning we take a guided tour around the city, exploring the winding streets and bustling souks, visiting Bahia Palace and the beautiful Koutoubia Mosque - the landmark of Marrakech, which towers over the ancient medina. The afternoon is free for a spot of souvenir shopping in the souks, or a final opportunity to soak up the sunshine by the pool. Overnight - Marrakech (B)
Day 9: Tagahazoute
After breakfast at the hotel in Marrakech, you will be taken to Marrakech Bus Station by your tour leader, who will collect your bus tickets and guide you onto the public bus. Departing Marrakech, you will arrive at Agadir bus station at roughly 12pm, where a representative will be waiting to transfer you to Taghazoute. Upon arrival have a quick tour of the lodge before walking into town for lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, grab your boards and wetsuits, and head out for an afternoon surf session in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Dinner will later be served on the lodge rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean. Day 10: Surfing Time
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the lodge terrace before an action packed day of surfing! Head out to catch the early morning surf, then be rewarded with a packed lunch on the beach. Once revitalised, it’s time for another surf lesson with the team. A well-earned dinner will be served at the lodge this evening, so relax and absorb the breathtaking views. Day 11: Marrakech
How you spend this morning is up to you! After breakfast at the lodge, choose from one of our optional activities or just chill out on the beach. If you just can’t get enough of surfing, why not take an optional surfing session in the morning? Or if you’d rather stay on land, you can choose to go horse riding down the Atlantic coast! Head back to the lodge to shower and checkout, before taking your departure transfer to Agadir bus station. You will be provided with a packed lunch for the journey to Marrakech. Upon arrival at Marrakech, make your own way back to the hotel to check in, and then why not explore the Djemma el Fna? With hundreds of food stands and entertainment, this is the perfect location to spend your final night on tour! Overnight - Marrakech (B, L)
Day 12: Farewell Marrakech
