Welcome to Morocco! A country steeped in history and culture. Arrival transfer from Marrakech airport to our hotel.
Today you will have a cooking class with the Souk Cuisine. The day starts with a visit to the souk, where you will learn how to find the best products. We will then head to the riad and start cooking Moroccan style. Afterwards, try the fruits of your labours. (course is 10am until 4pm).
It is an early start today. From the flat plain of Haouz, the route climbs southwards and up to the passes of the High Atlas mountains, along twisty roads with marvellous views. We continue on to Fes and check you into the hotel.
Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and a bustling hive of activity. This morning take a guided tour around the incredible, old medina - a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, pottery and donkeys! Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore independently.
Spend a day at leisure in Fes to see the souks and sights of the city. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit and looking down on the old quarter from the surrounding hills is quite an experience.
Departing early, we will take a tour of the Roman ruins at Volubilis, the largest ancient site of Morocco. UNESCO-listed, the site dates back to AD40 and once ruled the entire Roman province of Mauritania. We will also visit Meknes, another Imperial City, before heading on to the capital, Rabat.
This morning you will have a town guide to show you the Chellah, Hassan tour and the Medina before we head on to Casablanca and check you into the hotel.
Enjoy a free morning to explore Casablanca in your own time. Afterwards we head to the coast, to Essaouira and check you into the hotel.
Enjoy a lazy day at leisure in Essaouira. Perhaps take a camel ride along the beach, try a bit of wind surfing or simply sunbathe! This evening we will transfer you back to Marrakech and check you into the hotel.
We will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
