Day 1: Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco and the start of your holiday. Once your plane has been stored and you have cleared immigration, our local representative will greet you in the arrivals area and assist with the transfer to your accommodation at the Riad Lotus Privilege, in a Verte Suite if available. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide at the Palaid Dar es Salaam in the Medina.

Day 2: Marrakech

After a leisurely breakfast at the Riad, we venture out in the bustling street of Marrakesh for a guided tour of the Souks and Palaces of the Medina. Enjoy a free afternoon to perhaps visit the peaceful surrounding of the Jardins de Majorelle, or enjoy a traditional Hamman Bath back at your Riad.

Day 3: Marrakech - Essaouira

After breakfast and check out, we travel to the coastal town of Essaouira, renowned for its laid back atmosphere and artsy feel. This afternoon you have the option to try surfing or maybe kite surfing in the wind is right (both payable locally). Tonight you stay at the wonderful Riad Lotus O Marine.

Day 4: Essaouira

Free day to explore the Medina, relax or return to the beach for more water sports. There is a great range of amazing seafood restaurants in the main Square.

Day 5: Essaouira - Ourigane

Today we travel inland to Ourigane in the High Atlas Mountains. This afternoon don some comfortable walking shoes as we head into Toubkal National Park, taking in the beautiful mountain scenery and hopefully a glimpse of Jebel Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak. Overnight at the mountain oasis, L'Oliveraie de Marigha.

Day 6: Ourigane

Enjoy a hearty breakfast as today is a full day's trekking in the High Atlas. We venture through valley and villages along rocky paths up into the mountains where we stop to enjoy a cooked lunch and tea with a local Berber family.

Day 7: Ourigane - Ouarzazate

Today we travel over the mountain passes, en route visiting the Monastery at Tin Mal before we weave our way over the Tizi N Test Pass, one of the most spectacular road in Morocco, to Ouarzazate in the Souss Valley. Later this afternoon or in the early evening, you have the opportunity to try out quad biking (payable locally). Tonight you stay at the Palace Berber.

Day 8: Ouarzazate - Draa Valley

Today we travel down the stunning Valley of Draa to M'hamid, a small village on the edge of the Sahara. We trek into the desert on camels, where tonight you will stay at the exclusive Camp De Charme de Chigaga with dinner included. Take in the myrade of stars as you relax around the fire to welcome in the New Year.

Day 9: Draa Valley - Ouarzazate

This morning is free to relax in your desert surroundings, or enjoy a camel trek over the dunes of the Sahara sands. Other activities available are quad biking and dune surfing. Later we return to Ouarzazate where we visit Atlas Studios, classics such as Lawrence of Arabia and more recently, Gladiator and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen were filmed here.

Day 10: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Today we travel back over the Tizi n Test Pass and onto Marrakesh, en route visiting the Kasbah of El Glaoui with its stunning mountain backdrop (snow permitting). Overnight at the Riad Lotus Privilege.

Day 11: Marrakech

Today you bid farewell to Morocco. We will transfer you to the airport at a time to suit you for your flight home.
