Free time this morning to explore, perhaps visit the Hassan II Mosque. we then depart and travel past Rabat and Meknes to arrive in Fes for tonight.
Today we embark on a half day morning guided tour of the city of Fes. Explore the tanneries, souks, potteries, and the Medina, and learn the fascinating history of the city. The afternoon is at leisure for you to explore further on your own.
Today we travel over the Middle Atlas and the cedar forest before reaching Midelt where we spend tonight.
Today we travel over the High Atlas and down to Merzouga at the foot of Erg Chebbi dunes of the Sahara. Here you have the option to take a short camel ride to see the sunset over the dunes (book/pay locally).
Today we leave the Sahara behind and travel Along the Valley of the Roses with a visit to the Gorge du Todra before continuing onto Ouarzazate.
Today you have the chance to visit Ouarzazate and the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where Lawrence of Arabia was once filmed.
Today we continue on our way and travel over the High Atlas and the Palace of the Glaoui at Telouet, before descending to Marrakech. No visit to the city is complete without a visit to the city’s UNESCO-listed medina & Djemaa-el-Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place.
This morning we enjoy a guided tour of old Marrakech. Set within the rose-coloured walls of the medina and a tangle of winding streets lead to bustling souks, the focal point is the central square, the Djemaa el Fna. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore on your own.
Depart to Imlil in the High Atlas and a short walk to a gite in Aroumd. Night in Gite (note gite accommodation is basic accommodation in mountains usually used for trekkers).
Desend to Imlil and take the transportation back to Marrakech, afternoon in Marrakech at leisure.
