Day 1: Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! On arrival on Casablanca you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel for check in. After a relaxing morning venture out to see the Hassan II Mosque or the city center (dependent on times).

Day 2: Casablanca - Fes

This morning we departto Meknes and onwards to the Roman city of Volubilis before reaching our final destination of Fes. The oldest and largest medieval city in the world, Fes is a bustling hive of activity. The medina is a must – a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, carpets, pottery and leather goods. There are still some 200,00 people that live in the Medina, which has an old world feel to it. To navigate, follow the tourist circuits or hire a guide, as it is very easy to get lost within the medina! There are 5 circuits, each with a different colour, each with a different theme, such as palaces and gardens, traditional crafts etc.

Day 3: Fes

This morning we enjoy a guided tour of the souks and Palaces of the Old Medina of Fes. Fes el Bali is the most intriguing to visit, little alleyways threading their way through the lively souks, a cacophony of bargaining, colourful sights, incredible smells and a variety of local people going about their everyday business. It is the heart of Fes and besides the souks, houses many mosques and monuments. The tanneries of Fes are incredible to see, leather being soaked in every colour, but be aware of the smell, it is truly pungent! The afternoon is yours free to explore further.

Day 4: Fes - High Atlas

Today we depart along the foothills of the High Atlas, visiting the Cascades D Ouzoud waterfalls near Azilal in the mountains. Here we have a chance to see beautiful waterfalls and walk around the surroinding forests and foothills- perhaps even enjoy a mint tea with a local berber family.

Day 5: High Atlas - Marrakech

Today we depart for Demnate where we explore the Pomegranate orchards and cactus filled slopes before heading to Marrakech. This afternoon you have time to explore the souks and the medina of Marrakech. One of the first sights you will see as you enter Marrakech, is the Koutoubia Mosque, with its 230 foot high minaret, dating back to the 12th century. Djemâa el-Fna, the central square, is best seen in the evening when it’s overflowing with food stalls, cooking stalls, dancers, acrobats, fortune tellers, snake charmers, musicians and henna artists. It is an assault on the senses, from aromatic smells, colourful sights and an abundance of sound. The souks have a variety of goods for sale and don't forget- bargaining is expected!

Day 6: Marrakech

This morning we take a guided tour of the medina before we enjoy lunch in the Jama el Fna square. Following this our arrangements end with a departure transfer to the airport.
