Day 1: Marrakech

Arrival in Marrakech airport where you will be met by the On the Go guide and transferred to your hotel or Riad in the centre of town. Meet your guide for a tour briefing and then spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the vibrant Djemaa el-Fna square in the evening with the snake charmers, story tellers , food stalls and souks all in full swing.

Day 2: Marrakech

This morning enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, taking in all of the highlights of the Medina (old city centre) - the Koutoubia Mosque, palaces, souks and the old mellah (Jewish quartier). In the afternoon perhaps a visit to the peaceful Jardins de Majorelle to relax

Day 3: Marrakech - Essaouira

Today you travel from Marrakech to Essaouira. Originally encircled by the old walls, the town of Essaouira has now extended beyond the walls, but the town is still small enough to explore on foot. The 18th century town is laid back and is a popular destination for windsurfing and kite surfing, due to the wave forming winds in summer and spring. The beach is in front of the Medina and there are plenty of cafés with terraces. Blue doors and window frames abound as do the artists shops and jewellery stalls. Islands are scattered around, dramatic with their rocky shores and crashing waves. Relaxing in Essaouira is the perfect antidote to the bustle of the Imperial cities.

Day 4: Essaouira - Casablanca

This morning you have at leisure. Later this afternoon you will depart for Casablanca. Casablanca conjours up romantic images of a bygone era, from the film of the same name but today it is a modern city, with wide streets and some of the old French colonial buildings remain. The Place de Nations Unies is the central point of Casalanca, as it not only leads to the medina but also the wide streets lead from it.

Day 5: Casablanca

After a leisurely breakfast we will make our way to Rabat for a day trip, Morocco's political capital since indendance in 1956. You will have the opportunity to visit Chellah, Hassan tower and medina. Upon completion you will return to Casablanca.

Day 6: Casablanca

Today we bid you farewell and transfer you to the Casablanca airport for your onward flight.
