Day 1: Casablanca

Upon arrival at Casablanca airport you’ll be met by our friendly local team and transferred to our hotel in the centre of town. This evening there will be a welcome meeting and dinner at 18:00hrs to welcome you to the country with a hearty feast of Moroccan delights and traditional entertainment.

Day 2: Casablanca - Meknes

This morning we head out to explore the exterior of Hassan 2 Mosque, which has the tallest minaret and is the third largest mosque in the world - it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time. We stop at the Imperial City of Meknes, which became known as the Versailles of Morocco due to its impressive buildings and elaborate monuments all of which we will explore on an afternoon guided tour.

Day 3: Meknes - Fes

This morning we explore the incredible UNESCO listed Roman ruins of Volubilis, which date back to AD40. Reaching the Imperial City of Fes early in the afternoon. Prepare for a night of Moroccan entertainment and food at a restaurant in town.

Day 4: Fes

Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and its medina is a cacophony of aromas, sights and sounds. Today we enjoy a guided tour of Fes el Bali - the old walled city and visit the dye-pits, tanneries.

Day 5: Fes - Marrakech

This morning we take to the road and journey to Marrakech. The journey is simply stunning as pass through the High Atlas. Near Beni-Mellal we will stretch our legs with an easy walking trail to take in the stunning mountains and have a lunch. We then continue to Marrakech arriving in the evening.

Day 6: Marrakech

Today we take a guided tour and see the sights of Marrakech, Morocco's fourth Imperial City. Inside the rose coloured medina walls is a tangle of winding streets and alleys that open onto verdant gardens and bustling souks. At the heart of the medina is Djemaa El Fna, the city's exuberant market place and towering over it, is the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the tallest building in the city. This afternoon, we will head to an Olive processing plant where we witness first hand the process of extracting Olive Oil. Evening at leisure to explore.

Day 7: Marrakech

Day visit to Essaouira on the coast- on the way there , see the desert landscape transform into the green argan orchards of the coastal areas and stop at an argan oil cooperative to see how argan oil, soap are produced and the nuts gathered. In Essaouira, a chance to see the harbour, medina and fish market, perhaps spend some time on the beach with a camel ride. Return to Marrakech for a farewell dinner at Chez Ali with fantastic food and Berber entertainment.

Day 8: Marrakech

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
