Day 1: Casablanca

Welcome to the start of your Moroccan adventure! Arriving into Casablanca Airport, meet our friendly local team who await to take you onto your hotel. Later, we will set out to explore the incredible Hassan II mosque. Overnight - Novotel Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca - Chefchaouen

The sightseeing continues today – taking the short journey to Rabat, the Capital of Morocco and the second largest city after Casablanca. Spend the afternoon exploring this peaceful city and the ancient medina, with it's pretty white and stone washed buildings. When ready, we drive to Chefchaouen, the “blue” city in the Rif Mountains - a haven of tranquility and peace. Chefchaouen is a beautiful blue door and white walled medina that was originally a Berber post. Overnight Dar Mounir Chefchaouen

Day 3: Chefchaouen

Spend the day with your guide taking in all that Chefchaouen has to offer. Overnight Dar Mounir Chefchaouen

Day 4: Chefchaouen - Meknes

This morning we set off to see the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis, past the fields of lentils and chickpeas, into the hills around this well preserved city where its possible to explore the mosaics and forum. After, we drive onward to the Imperial City of Meknes, which became known as the Versailles of Morocco due to its impressive buildings and elaborate monuments. Overnight Hotel Transatlantique

Day 5: Meknes

Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and its medina is a cacophony of aromas, sights and sounds. Today we enjoy a full day guided tour of Fes el Bali - the old walled city and visit the dye-pits, tanneries before returning to our hotel in Meknes. Overnight Hotel Transatlantique

Day 6: Meknes - Erfoud

After an early breakfast you will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. On arrival at the hotel in Erfoud, a hot shower or dip in the swimming pool (depending on the weather) will be a treat after the drive. Overnight Riad Erfoud

Day 7: Erfoud - Erg Chebbi

Most of the day will be spent relaxing at the hotel or exploring the small but interesting desert town. In the afternoon, you will head off in some 4-wheel drive vehicles across the barren land to the majestic Sahara sand dunes. You will spend the night in Berber tents. Overnight La Belle Etoile

Day 8: Erg Chebbi - Dades Gorge

After breakfast, you will return by camel to vehicle then set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. The splendid Todra River valley road takes you through incredible scenery before entering the mouth of the Todra Gorge. The canyon is 1,000 ft high, cut into the pink and green walls of the High Atlas where birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts can experience some very interesting opportunities. In the afternoon, you will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). You will stay the night near the Dades Gorge. Overnight Xaluca Boumalene Dades

Day 9: Dades Gorge - Ouarzazate

Today we stop to explore Ait Benhaddou, an incredible ancient fortified kasbah which has featured in many a blockbuster movie, including Gladiator and Laurence of Arabia. Continue to your hotel in Ouarzazate. Overnight Riad Petite

Day 10: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast, you will complete the drive over the High Atlas Mountains to the city of Marrakech. Free time on arrival, consider heading to Djemaa el Fna - the cities UNESCO listed bustling medina. Best seen at night, this central square is an absolute feast for the senses, overflowing with stalls, fortune tellers, snake charmers and musicians. It's like stepping into another world! Day 11: Marrakech

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the city. Overnight Riad Moullaoud

Day 12: Marrakech

This morning enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, taking in all of the main attractions including the palace and Koutoubia mosque. This afternoon is free for you to wander around the bustling souks or simply relax. Overnight Riad Moullaoud

Day 13: Marrakech - Essaouira

Leaving this morning for the 2.5 hour transfer across the plains surrounding Marrakech to the Argan orchards and scrub maquis-type vegetation around Essaouira. The colourful fishing town of Essaouira is perfect for some beachside fun and relaxation. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming medina or simply lazing on the beach. Day 14: Essaouira

Spend the day at leisure. Relax by the beach or discover the old medina and the ramparts of the town. We recommend the tasty sea food restaurants around the harbour for a spot of evening dining in beautiful surroundings. Overnight Riad Assaouira Wind Palace Essaouira

Day 15: Essaouira - Casablanca

You will leave Essaouira for Casablanca with a stop at El Oualidia on the way. We drive along the coastline to El Jadida where we visit the citadel and see the underground cistern. Overnight Novotel Casablanca

Day 16: Casablanca

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to Casablanca Airport in time for your flight home.
