Welcome to Morocco! Today on arrival into Casablanca we will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day/evening is at leisure.
Today we enjoy a half day tour of Casablanca. Made famous by Humphrey Bogart in the film “Casablanca”. We will visit the stunning Hassan II mosque, which has the tallest minaret and the third largest mosque in the world, it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time. We'll also wander the local streets and markets before we head to Rabat, the Capital of Morocco and the second largest city after Casablanca. Spend the afternoon exploring with our guide this peaceful city and the ancient medina, with it's pretty white and stone washed buildings.
This morning you will have a town guide to show you the Chellah, Hassan tour and the Medina before you have the chance to stop for lunch. We continue north to Fes, via Meknes.
Today you have a town guide with you to help you explore this fascinating place. The medina is a must – a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, carpets, pottery and leather goods.
Spend a day at leisure in Fes to see the souks and sights of the city. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit and looking down on the old quarter from the surrounding hills is quite an experience.
After an early breakfast you will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend into the Sahara Desert.
This morning, watch the sunrise, seeing the changing colours of the desert with the sunrise. We will then drive to Ouarzazate, via the Gorge du Todhra and the valley of the Roses.
Morning sightseeing of Ouarzazate. This afternoon we drive to Marrakech. You can explore the famous square for the evening. The focal point is the central square, the Djemâa-el- Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place. Full of colour, spicy aromas and traders it is best seen in the evening when overflowing with food stalls, dancers, acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians and henna artists.
This morning enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, taking in all of the highlights of the Medina (old city centre) - the Koutoubia Mosque, palaces, souks and the old mellah (Jewish quartier). In the afternoon why not visit the peaceful Jardins de Majorelle, a tranquil haven in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
Morning at leisure before a drive this afternoon brings you back to Casablanca.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight.
