Day 1: Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! On arrival we will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to the stunning Taj Palace, with the rest of the day free for you to enjoy your hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech

The day starts at 10am with your Souk Cuisine cook taking you to the market/souks where local sellers sell their home-grown goods or food, home-made according to traditional methods. We'll then cook with Moroccan women in the courtyard of a Riad (a traditional Moroccan house). It takes 4 hours to cook, some dishes will include: Zaahlouk of courgettes, Briouates with vegetables, Tagine with ‘Boulette de Sardines,’ Tagine with lamb and quince, Sardines and chermoula, Couscous with sweet onion and raisins and M’hancha. At roughly 3pm, it's time to sit down to enjoy our own cooked cuisine on a the inevitable sun-roof. Enjoy at least 4 dishes with recipes to take home.

Day 3: Marrakech

This morning we take a guided tour around the city, exploring the winding streets and bustling souks, visiting Bahia Palace and the beautiful Koutoubia Mosque - the landmark of Marrakech, which towers over the ancient medina. We then head to the Djemaa el Fna, the exuberant market place, filled with spicy aromas, exotic music, market stalls, snake charmers, magicians, storytellers and more, it is undoubtedly the liveliest and most captivating attraction in Morocco!

Day 4: Marrakech - Ouarzazate

This morning we head to legendary Ait Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Enjoy a guided tour of this remarkable site, exploring the ancient winding alleys, towers and kasbahs - a handful of which remain inhabited today. We explore the winding alleys and admire the wonderful views overlooking a fertile river valley and the surrounding Atlas mountains as we drive on to Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

We explore this important trading post this morning, before heading on our way for an incredible journey over the Atlas mountains. Arriving late afternoon in Marrakech. This evening enjoy the facilites of your sumptuous hotel.

Day 6: Marrakech

A leisurely day today to relax and enjoy the beautiful hotel, before we transfer you to the airport for your onward flight home.
