Day 1: Fes

Welcome to Fes! The oldest and largest Medieval city in the world, Fes is a bustling hive of activity and truly fascinating. Spend the remainder of the day exploring this historic city, the souks, the palaces and the views from the museum and old Kasbah just outside the city walls. Over night in the hotel.

Day 2: Fes

After enjoying a lovely breakfast this morning you take a guided tour around the incredible, old medina - a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, pottery and donkeys! Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore independently.

Day 3: Fes

Another day in the wonderful city. You can choose to relax in the hotel for a bit before enjoying a wonderful Moroccan dinner in town. There are endless palaces and souks to take in. What a wonderful place to get lost in the culture. Overnight at the hotel.

Days 4-5: Fes - Meknes

Heading out of the city this morning, visit the ancient Roman city of Volubilis in the foothills of the Middle Atlas mountains. Incredible mosiacs, gates, villas and the forum still remain. In the afternoon, see the town of Moulay Idriss, only open to non muslims in recent history and named after the founder of Fes. Spend the night in the Imperial city of Meknes.

Day 6: Meknes - Rabat

After a morning exploring Meknes Medina, we then travel off to the historical city of Rabat. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy. Ask the guide for some exciting activities to enjoy or just enjoy a peaceful night in the colourful city.

Days 7-8: Rabat

This morning you will enjoy a guided sight seeing tour of Rabat. You can visit sights such as the Royal Palace, Mohammed V Mausoleum, the un-concluded Hassan tower and the ancient Roman Ruins of the city of Chellac. Spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 9: Rabat

After breakfast it's on to visit Casablanca and the see the exterior of Hassan 2 Mosque, which has the tallest minaret and is the third largest mosque in the world - it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time. There is an optional visit inside the mosque for those who would like to explore further before carrying on down the coast to Qualidia. Your hotel is the Riad Zaytoun.

Day 10: - Marrakech

Today is a free day to enjoy Oualidia.

Days 11-13: Marrakech

This morning we travel to Marrakech before having an afternoon guided tour the vibrant city. The next 2 days are yours to enjoy in the city. Perhaps haggle at the markets or enjoy a wonderful walk through the botanical gardens. Your hotel is the Riad Des Princesses in Marrakech

Day 14: Marrakech - Essaouira

Today we drive to Essaouira. With a laid-back feel Essaouira is Morocco’s hippest coastal town. The windswept fishing port, broad beaches and ancient walled medina with ramparts built into the cliff have long been a favourite refuge for artists, sculptors, food lovers, surfers and backpackers. Your hotel is the 4-star Dar Liouba.

Day 15: Essaouira

Today is yours to spend at your leisure

Day 16: Essaouira

Today we say good bye after transfers back to the airport for your flight home back to the UK. I hope you have enjoyed your experience in Morocco. With so many different experiences and sights to enjoy, I am sure that it will be an adventure to remember. Your flight departs at 20:10 back to London Stansted. Thank you for travelling with us.
