Welcome to Morocco! Today on arrival into Casablanca we will be there to meet you and transfer you to Rabat and your hotel. The rest of the day/evening is at leisure.
This morning you will have a guide to explore Rabat. Visit sights such as the Royal Palace, Mohammed V Mausoleum, the un-concluded Hassan tower and the ancient Roman Ruins of the city of Chellac. The afternoon is free. Overnight - Hotel Sherezade.
Travelling up the coast, the road goes past some of the newer developments along the coast, and veers inland through the forests of Eucalyptus. En route to Tangier visit the famous Hercules Caves which are dug into a cliff. The Hercules caves were used for shelter by Neolithic man and in the 20th century they became the setting for sumptuous parties.
Spend the morning in Tangier, exploring the souks and beaches. In the afternoon, head off along the Mediterranean coast to Chefchaouen, the “blue” city in the Rif Mountains - a haven of tranquility and peace. Chefchaouen is a beautiful blue door and white walled medina that was originally a Berber post.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Chefchaouen, a haven of peace and tranquility. Discover the medina of Chefchaouen, the silk and wool weaving quarter, the main square with its cafes, and the souks. Perhaps barter for a kilim in the market, where you can get some great deals!
This morning take the road through the mountains, to UNESCO listed Fes, with a stop at the Roman city of Volubilis on the way, Fes is the world's oldest medieval city.
Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and a bustling hive of activity. This morning take a guided tour around the incredible, old medina - a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, pottery and donkeys! Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore independently.
Today we make our way across the Middle Atlas - maybe stopping in the cedar forest to see the wild macaque monkeys. Onwards, and into the plains where the tents of the nomads can be seen. We will stop for the night in Midelt.
Today we have a trip over the Middle Atlas to the High Atlas Mountains and the Gorge du Ziz. After the High Atlas, the plain of Errachidia dissolves into the Sahara and the sand dunes at Merzouga.
This morning, we watch the sunrise over the desert-on a camel trek - a chance to see the differing colours of the desert with the sunrise. We will transfer to Ouarzazate via the Gorge du Todhra and the valley of the Roses.
In the morning you can opt to go quad biking or visit the film studio that produced Lawrence of Arabia. This afternoon, on our way back to Marrakech, we explore Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. After exploring this incredible site we journey back to magical Marrakech.
This morning enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, taking in all of the main attractions including the palace and Koutoubia mosque. This afternoon is free for you to wander around the bustling souks or simply relax.
Today we will drive this afternoon to Casablanca, where we will check you into the hotel. We then take you on a half day tour of Casablanca. Made famous by Humphrey Bogart in the film “Casablanca”. We will visit the stunning Hassan II mosque, which has the tallest minaret and the third largest mosque in the world, it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time. We'll also wander the local streets and markets before we transfer by car to Marrakesh.
We will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
