Pick up from the airport at Agadir and transfer through the banana plantations and market gardens to the town of Taroudant which is often called the “Marrakech of the south”- A Berber city with original souks and medina. Afternoon to explore the city.
After a morning to see the sights , drive along the saffron fields that lie at the base of the Siroua mountains and onwards to Ouarzazate. Turn north to visit the Kasbah of Ait ben haddou before night in the Hotel les jardins de Ouarzazate or similar
Travel along the valley of roses and a chance to see the gorges of Todra before reaching the edge of the Sahara desert at Merzouga. Night in Les Portes du Desert auberge at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Possiblity to see sunset over the sand dunes.
Travel over the High Atlas past the Gorge du Ziz and onwards across the plains to Midelt. The journey then continues to the Middle Atlas mountains and the road passes through the cedar forests to Fes.
Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and a bustling hive of activity. This morning take a guided tour around the incredible, old medina - a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, pottery and donkeys! Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore independently.
Head along the foothills of the High Atlas mountains and past Beni Mellal to arrive in Marrakech- evening to explore the souks and medina. Night in Riad Imlichil or similar
Morning guided tour of Marrakech and afternoon free to see more of the medieval medina, , souks , palaces and perhaps the Jardins Majorelle. Last night dinner in the Palais Dar Es Salaam.
