Day 1: Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech and you will be met and transferred to the Riad Aquarelle or similar.

This morning enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech. This morning we take a guided city tour and see the sights of magical Marrakech. Inside the rose-coloured medina walls lies Bahia Palace and a tangle of winding streets that open onto verdant gardens and intriguing alleyways that lead onto bustling souks and the exciting market place Djemaa el Fna. Towering over this is the famous Koutoubia mosque, the tallest building in the city!

Day 3: Marrakech - Essaouira

Depart for the coast and the seaside town of Essaouira. Arrive Essaouira and you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon and evening is free to explore the beach and harbour. Overnight in Hotel Miramar or similar.

Day 4: Essaouira - Taroudant

Today we will drive along the coast and past the fishing town and resort of Agadir. Enjoy the view of the banana plantations and fruit orchards till we reach the southern berber capital of tarouddant. Overnight in Riad Hida or similar.

Day 5: Taroudant - Ouarzazate

This morning enjoy a tour of Tarouddant before heading off to Ouarzazate and Ait ben haddou. Overnight in Auberge Les Roses du sable or similar.

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Gorge du Dades

Today there is the chance to see the Kasbah Ait ben haddou before we leave and travel along the valley of the Roses to the Gorge du dades. Overnight in Hotel Tomboctou or similar.

Day 7: Gorge du Dades - Erg Chebbi

Today we travel along the foothills of the saghro Mountains to Merzouga and the Sahara desert. Overnight in a berber camp in the dunes. Enjoy dinner under the stars.

Day 8: Erg Chebbi

Today we camp in the Sarara desert. Today you will have the option to climb Erg Chebbi or a camel trek through the desert. Overnight in a desert camp. All meals included.

Day 9: Erg Chebbi - Fes

This morning we will take a long but scenic journey over the High Atlas mountains and down to the middle Atlas and the Cedar forests before reaching Fes. Overnight Fes Inn or similar .

Day 10: Fes

The oldest and largest medieval city in the world, Fes is a bustling hive of activity and the medina provides a heady mix of aromas, sights and sounds from the overloaded donkeys, tanneries, spice tubs, carpets and leather goods. Today we take a step back in time as we enjoy a guided tour of the medieval medina in the morning. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring or perhaps just relaxing.
