Day 1: Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco and the start of your adventure! We will meet you at Marrakech airport and transfer you to your luxury hotel and spa close to the city centre. Marrakech is a vibrant city, and its central Djemaa el Fna square is continually bustling with musicians, performers and lively local food stalls.

Day 2: Marrakech

Adrenaline time! We set off early for a helicopter flight over Marrakech and the surrounding areas. In the afternoon its exploration of Marrakech by foot as our guide shows you the main sights. A definite highlight is the sprawling souk, with alleyways that twist and turn around the silver ware, leatherwork, clothing and art stalls. Overnight - Riad Hibiscus

Day 3: Marrakech - Ouarzazate

Leaving Marrakech this morning, we head up towars the Atlas mountains. Climbing through the passes of Tizi n Tichka we take the small road to the 'lost' palace of the Glaoui at Telouet in the heart of the high Atlas. Descendng to Ouarzazate it off for an hour of quad biking. Overnight - Riad Hibiscus

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Taroudant

Adventure Tintin style - the Sahara! Today we drive to Zagora, travelling via the Anti Atlas mountains, Berber villages of Agdz and the amazing Draa Valley. At Zagora we will hop onto camels and trek into Sahara to the remote Bedouin camp. Mop the sweat off your brow and hope for an imminent oasis as we trek over dusty desert dunes – you’ll truly feel part of the film script! Settle into your tent and then pull back the canvas on a starry night of Bedouin music, entertainment and dinner. The camp also offers the opportunity to sleep out under the stars if you wish. Day 5: Taroudant - Zagora

Adventure Tintin style - the Sahara! Today we drive to Zagora, travelling via the Anti Atlas mountains, Berber villages of Agdz and the amazing Draa Valley. Day 6: Zagora - Marrakech

This morning we hop back on our camels and head back to Zagora. Then its back to Marrakech, but not before seeing one more true highlight of Morocco - medieval Ait Ben Haddou. The fortified city of Ait Benhaddou - built for defence purposes high on a hill with a bubbling steam within it shadows, the stunningly well preserved medieval city is a true highlight of our tour. Used as a backdrop in many films, its beauty is unequal to any other fortified village in south Morocco. Overnight - Desert camp

Day 7: Marrakech

The end of your Moroccan adventure, but not before a (pleasant!) surprise or two for the children. Then, a transfer to the airport in time for your onward international flight home. Overnight - El Andalous Hotel & Spa
