Welcome to Morocco! We will be there to meet you at Casablanca airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Morning at leisure, where you have the chance to see the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. We then depart and make our way to Marrakech. Evening at leisure. No visit to the city is complete without a visit to the city’s UNESCO-listed medina & Djemaa-el-Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place.
This morning enjoy a guided tour or Marrakech, taking in all of the highlights of the Medina (old city centre) - the Koutoubia Mosque, palaces, souks and the old mellah (Jewish quarter). In the afternoon you have free time, perhaps a visit to the peaceful Jardins de Majorelle to relax. You may also have the chance to see the celebrations of the end of Ramadan in the square.
Today we depart early as we travel over the high Atlas mountains and visit the kasbah Ait ben haddou on the way. We then make it to the Gorge du todhra on the southern slopes of the mountains.
Today we continue along the foothills of the Saghro mountains and towards the Sahara Desert at Merzouga. Evening free to see the sunset over the sand dunes or take a camel ride (book/pay locally).
Today is a long drive but very scenic as we travel through the High Atlas Mountains and descend past Midelt through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. We make it to Fes for the night.
Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and a bustling hive of activity. This morning take a guided tour around the incredible, old medina - a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, pottery and donkeys! Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore independently.
Today we depart early from the hotel, and transfer you to the port of Tangiers. Your arrangements end here and you will need to purchase onward ferry tickets locally.
