Day 1: Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Today on arrival into Casablanca we will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day/evening is at leisure.

Day 2: Casablanca - Fes

After a leisurely breakfast we will make our way to Rabat, Morocco's political capital since indendance in 1956. We will then continue on to Fes via the Roman city of Volubilis, which is well worth a visit for a couple of hours. Volubilis features the best preserved ruins in this part of northern Africa.

Day 3: Fes

Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and a bustling hive of activity. This morning take a guided tour around the incredible, old medina - a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, pottery and donkeys! Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore independently.

Day 4: Fes - Merzouga

Today we have a trip over the Middle Atlas to the High Atlas Mountains and the Gorge du Ziz. After the High Atlas, the plain of Errachidia dissolves into the Sahara. Night in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara.

Day 5: Merzouga - Todra Gorge

Today you can rise early to see the sun rise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi and then depart to the Gorges of Todhra and Dades.

Day 6: Todra Gorge - Ouarzazate

Leaving the impressive Todra Gorge we make the short journey to Gorge du Dades in the Dades valley, a green and fertile valley by the Dades River that flows through it giving life to a huge variety of colourful fruit and nut trees and extraordinary red rock formations. We see the Skoura Palm Oasis and Kasbah Amerdhil before reaching Ouarzazate.

Day 7: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

We visit the beautiful Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a world heritage site. This afternoon we drive to Marrakech. Own arrangements in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech

Day 9: Marrakech

Own arrangements in Marrakech.

Day 10: Marrakech - Essaouira

This morning we head off to Essaouira. You have free time to explore. A colourful fishing town situated within 15th century Portuguese fortifications. Great beaches and surf beckon. Relax on the beach or alternatively explore the UNESCO-listed medina with its various souks and woodcarving workshops. Any city gate leads to the Medina, so you’re unlikely to get lost.

Day 11: Essaouira

We will transfer you to Casablanca for your departure flight - please note the flight departure time should be after 4pm.
