Arrival in Marrakech airport where you will be met by the On the Go guide and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the vibrant Djemaa el-Fna square in the evening with the snake charmers, story tellers, food stalls and souks all in full swing.

It is an early start today. From the flat plain of Haouz, the route climbs southwards and up to the passes of the High Atlas mountains, along twisty roads with marvellous views. We visit the lost palace of the Glaoui at Telouet before heading to Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified city, with beautiful examples of Kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited today. It has been the setting for many films including Gladiator.
Today we leave Ouarzazate and follow the road to the palmeries and kasbahs of the valley du Draa before reaching Zagora. We meet the camel team and head into the desert. Overnight in a berber camp in the desert with dinner.
We take the southern camel route trails from Zagora to Tata, passing the oasis of Foum Zguid.
Travel through the Anti Atlas to Taroudannt and a chance to see the city before carrying onto Agadir through the banana plantations.
Free day and at your leisure, until we transfer you back to Marrakech this afternoon.
