Day 1: Marrakech
Welcome to Morocco! A country steeped in history and culture. Arrival transfer from Marrakech airport to our hotel. Remainder of the day at your leisure.
Day 2: Marrakech
This morning is at your leisure, in the afternoon we enjoy a guided tour of old Marrakech. Set within the rose-coloured walls of the medina and a tangle of winding streets lead to bustling souks, the focal point is the central square, the Djemaa el Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place. Full of colour, spicy aromas and traders it is best seen in the evening when overflowing with food stalls, dancers, acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians and henna artists.
Day 4: Marrakech - Ouarzazate
It's an early start today when the transportation and your mountain guide arrives at the Hotel to take you towards the desert (5 hours drive). From the flat plain of Haouz, the route climbs southwards and up to the passes of the High Atlas mountains. En route to Ouarzazate we visit Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified city, boasting beautiful examples of Kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited today. Arrival in Ouarzazate, the film capital of Morocco check into your hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate - Zagora
Continue on with the journey 5-7 hours down the valley of Draa and the palmeries to Zagora and onwards to Mhamid- night in dar Azawad (Chambre du Sultan)
Day 6: Zagora
Enjoy today in Mhamid and later transfer to camp – take a 2 hour camel ride to the camp in the middle of the dunes. night in Desert with our mobile camp.
Day 7: Zagora
Today we camel ride back out of desert and to dar Azawad - night in dar Azawad (Chambre du Sultan)
Day 8: Zagora
Today we have a 10 hour drive from Mhamid to Agadir on arrival end of our arrangements with drop off at your hotel.
