Day 1: Kiev

Day 2: City tour
Today we embark on a city tour of the nation's capital, visiting the golden domed St. Michael’s Cathedral and the ancient golden gates originally constructed in 1037. We continue with a leisurely stroll to baroque styled St. Andrew’s Church and the Byzantine constructed Holy Sophia Cathedral, inspired by emperor Justinian’s Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. This afternoon we explore the Lower Town Podil located on the banks of the Dnieper and the Chornobyl Museum dedicated to the 1986 disaster Overnight - Kiev (B)
Day 3: Underground labyrinths
This morning we visit the 12th century Rus architectured Trinity Gate Church and the Caves Monastery. The caves known as (Pechersk Lavra) spread across wooded slopes above the River Dnipro, house a unique array of gold domed churches, underground labyrinths lined with mummified monks and elegant monastic buildings turned museums, boasting such a hoard of gold to rival that of the Hermitage in St Petersburg.
