Day 1: Kiev

Welcome to Kiev! Airport arrival transfer to your hotel and check in. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight - Kiev

Day 2: City tour

Today embark on a city tour of the nation’s capital, visiting the golden domed St. Michael’s Cathedral and the ancient golden gates, originally constructed in 1037. Continue with a leisurely stroll to baroque styled St. Andrew’s Church & the Byzantine constructed Holy Sophia Cathedral, inspired by emperor Justinian’s Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. This afternoon explore the Lower Town Podil, on the banks of the Dnieper river & the Chernobyl Museum dedicated to the 1986 disaster. Overnight - Kiev (B)

Day 3: Underground labyrinths

This morning visit the Museum of Historical Treasures and Pechersk Lavra - also known as the Caves Monastery, spread across wooded slopes above the River Dnieper and house a unique array of gold domed churches, underground labyrinths lined with mummified monks and elegant monastic buildings turned museums, boasting a hoard of gold rivalling that of the Hermitage. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight - Kiev (B)

Day 4: Kiev

Our city stay concludes after breakfast, consider heading to the local souvenir market just a short walk from our hotel and onward departure transfer to the airport. (B)
