Welcome to Russia! Upon arrival we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel for the evening.
This morning we visit Peter and Paul Fortress, home to the SS Peter and Paul Cathedral, housing the tombs of the Romanov monachs. This afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the Hermitage, where you will be taken to see the highlights of this incredible collection and the beautiful baroque palace that houses it.
Today visit Pushkin (Catherine palace and park) and Yusupov palace. This beautiful 18th century palace was once the residence of the Yusupov's, the richest family in Russia and the site of the most legendary and mysterious episodes in Russian history occurred - the murder of Rasputin in 1916.
This morning will be at your leisure before we transfer you to the train station for a fast train departing approx. 13:30 to Moscow arriving approx. 18:00. Upon arrival we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel the Maxima Panorama or similar for the evening.
Today enjoy a half day guided tour of Moscow’s most famous sites including a view from Sparrow Hills, walk at Red square and a visit to Lenin's Masoleum.
This morning we tour the Kremlin (territory, cathedrals, Armoury). If time permits we will visit Vladimir, alternatively we will travel onward to Sudzhal and have a tour of Bogolubovo en-route.
Today you will have a city tour of Suzdhal including Suzdal Kremlin and Museum of Wooden Architecture. We then travel onward to Kostroma, known as the ‘Cradle of the Romanov dynasty’, as it was home to first Tsar of the Romanov Dynasty.
Today we will have a city tour of Kostroma including a visit to Ipatiev Monastery and Trinity Cathedral. We then we will drive to Yaroslavl and enjoy a city tour to Spasso-preobrazhensky cathedral and Church of Elijah the Prohpet.
Today enjoy the sights of the lakeside town of Rostov Veliky. Here you will enjoy a city tour including a visit to Rostov Kremlin and the Enamel museum. We then continue onto to Sergiev Posad (if time permits) and visit the Trinity Sergius Lavra before continuing back to Moscow.
