Most of the inner city sights are located on and just off the main thoroughfare Nevsky Prospekt, that stretches for around 4 km from near the Winter Palace Embankment to Alexander Nevsky Monastery, so St Pete's is good for walkers! Tonight - an included transfer to the rail station for overnight train to Moscow.

You'll spot Moscow's bastion of power, the gold onion-domed Kremlin, GUM department store and more. Rest of day free. Lenin's fascinating granite mausoleum located in Red Square is a Mecca for the curious and worth a look.
Free time in the capital. Moscow has a staggering array of art galleries, museums and shops, as well as unique attractions such as famous Gorky Park. Tonight, an included transfer to Yaroslavl rail station for the train to Ulaan Baatar.
Settle into life aboard the train as it plies its way across the Urals and large tracts of Siberia and then through on your momentous journey into the heart of Mongolia, a land of endless steppe, towering mountains, pristine lakes, rivers and desert.
Morning arrival into Ulaan Baatar after crossing the Mongolian border during the very early hours. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and then transfer to nearby Terelj National Park en route stopping to visit Turtle Rock and a Nomadic family to gain a little insight into there way of life. Arrival in Terej and you check into your traditional Mongolian Ger Camp for the night.
Elevated Terelj is cool and the scenic alpine surrounds spectacular. The protected area is host to diverse flora and fauna and is famous for its unique granite rock formations. Today is a free day to choose from various optional ativities your hosts offer.
